I love this idea. Could you add a picture of it with the tree? Also how much taller is the tree now?

Thanks,

Wow! I love this idea! This is the perfect solution to my problem. I have an empty urn sitting in the garage and a tree without a skirt on the front porch. I was going to pick up some fabric tomorrow but I think I'll try this instead! Thanks for the inspiration (and saving me some money)!

Thanks, girls! Hope you'll try the urn too.

Jill, my tree is 7 1/2 feet tall and the bottom part of it sits on the edge of the urn. You may be able to get a bigger one for your 9 foot tree. I don't see why not, if you get one with a big enough lip on it to help keep it stable. Mine hasn't slipped at all once it is in place.
