Hey Rhoda, thanks SO much for taking time to stop by 47th STreet today! I love it when you come to visit. I don't know how you keep up with all of us who love your blog so much. It was fun to show my thrifting finds today. After following you, I have told myself I'm going to start looking at the clothes, but rarely do. I have a teal blue old fan from my inlaws! No one else wanted it but me when we were going through their things after they passed away. I can see they are starting to become a BIG item! Loved reading about your parents once again. That food looks like good ole N.C. food like my relatives make. Nothin' like it! Bless their sweet hearts. Love the tea towels!

I just finished reading all about your sweet mama and daddy. They look so happy and content. I loved seeing the food IN BOWLS on THE TABLE just like when I was a kid.
Now, most of the time, we serve ourselves from the stove and cabinet and THEN go sit down at the table. Of course, we have 17 in our family so when we all get together, we do buffet style.
The ice cream looked so good...and I used to sit on top of the freezer, too.

I've been looking for an old fan like the one you have...love it.
