Hello! I love what you did with your kitchen and bath. You have so inspired me to do this project. Can you tell me what paint color is on your kitchen walls? Thanks in advance!

You inspire me so much with your "doesn't have to be perfect" attitude. I stop myself in my tracks, thinking I can't do things perfectly and look what you've accomplished with your great attitude. Not to mention, I think what you do looks almost perfect anyway. :-)

I am having trouble with it sticking on the wall. It comes off easily. What is up with that? Do I need to buy paste?

I recently had beadboard installed in my bathroom. I love it so much I would like to have it in my hallway but I don't want to spend that much money so this really excites me! I can use the beadboard wallpaper and get the same effect. Thanks for this inspiring project!

Hi Rhoda -

This "THANKS" is long overdue. My husband's retirement brought us to our daughter's lovely spot in the woods - but into a non-descript single-wide mobile home. Which we promptly began converting into a sweet little cottage! One of our favorite fixes was using your beadboard wallpaper tutorial on the typical, cheapo kitchen cabinets. We "beaded" the insert portion of the doors and all end cabinets. Then we painted them a darkish tan and finished with a brown Minwax stain. Very "prim" looking - warm, but not dark - and we love them! We also did the 2 bathrooms, one in the same country tan and the other in a nice warm green. We painted/stained the mirror trim too. Little by little we're getting rid of the 'fakey trailer wood look"!

I believe this type of project is almost custom made for cheapo trailer cabinets. It also works wonders on customizing the back of your basic (boring) bookcases, picture frames, etc. The paper has an awesome quality!

So again, this is my belated but sincere THANKS! I've been so amazed and delighted by the generosity of so many talented women in Blogland the past couple of years. Y'all have inspired me to "go for it" and to discover, in my 50s, that I AM talented and artistic! That has been a huge awakening......now, if I could only retire from my job and loooong commute.....I would be a fulltime crafting fool! :) Cheers!

Hi, Amy, it is great paper, but I do not think you could stain it at all. Sorry, I can't see it working in that type setting. Painting it is great, but no stain.

I really love what you did with the beadboard wallpaper. It looks awesome! My question is, would it be possible to stain this wallpaper? I have oak cabinetry, and would love to use the wallpaper instead of messing with real beadboard, but am stumped as to how I could get it to match my wood. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
