We have been going to the Fort Walton, Destin, Panama City area since 1978. Things have changed so much in those years. I remember when Seaside wasn’t even built. It was mostly open beach area between Destin and Panama City. I do love the cottages, although it is becoming too much of a good thing, and the beaches are gorgeous. I love Grayton Beach, but decry the changes taking place. I remember it as an almost untouched beachside town of yesteryear. The state park there has wonderful beaches. You also might want to visit Cape San Blas sometime, wonderful!

I have enjoyed your Seagrove pics so much! When my 5 yr. old was 15 mos. old, we went with two other families to Seagrove for 7 whole days and stayed in one of these beautiful cottages that belongs to a friend’s cousin. Not only was it magazine perfect, but it had a pool, too. So, while the adults would relax and get dinner ready, the kids would swim some more. It was WONDERFUL! You’ve taken me back!

Rhoda, These are adorable homes! They have such character. Would that I could stay for a while in one of them. It would be such fun to look out upon the sand and the water and enjoy the company of loved ones and friends….
