{Giveaway is now closed!)

Someone’s getting an early Christmas present!!

So, I’m SO SO excited about this giveaway today.  Most of you probably are familiar with the Silhouette company and their nifty crafting machines that cut vinyl and do lots of crafty projects. You’ve seen these projects all over blogland.

Cameo

Well, I just received my very own new and updated Cameo and can’t wait to get started with it in my new office.  I’m going to get myself organized and do all sorts of vinyl words to spread around my office baskets and also use it in the kitchen to organize the clear jars.  There are SO many things you can do with this fun crafting machine.

I’m showing off some projects that some of my blog friends have made to show the variety of projects that can be done with this wonder gadget.  It does SO SO much!  If you are crafty at all, you’ll love having this machine around.

Baby Boy Room_Brooke

Brooke made these owl art pics from vinyl and old windows. How clever is this?

Bailey_Farm_Crate_End_Sign_2

Brittany made a cute wooden sign with her Silhouette.

clock pillow Stacy

Stacy’s cute clock pillow was made by using fabric, that’s how versatile it is.

cottagestylecurtains_Brooke

Brooke also made this adorable knife and fork curtain panels, whimsical and cute!

Lindsay snowflakes

Snowflakes made from cardstock and glitterized by Lindsay are perfect for the holidays.

Snowflakes Lindsay

She added them to some clear candle holders too for some festive fun.

party favors Roeshel

Roeshel threw a party and cut these adorable boxes out of cardstock.

silhouette.collage crown Roeshel

And she made these wooden blocks with vinyl crowns, painted and distressed them.

thankful_box Myra

And Myra put together this oh so cute Thankful box using sheet music and a pretty font.

Love all of these projects!

Wouldn’t you love to win one of these fantastically fun machines??  I know you would!!  It’s a special week of fun giveaways at Silhouette and they are giving away Cameos and Portrait crafting machines all over blogland!  Imagine the possibilities of what you could do with this fun machine!

I would so use this to make a monogram for a platter I have, that I plan on hanging in my kitchen when I get done painting it. I could also see using it to make labels for my home made laundry soap, fabric softener, dish washer soap…even the socks that are missin mates in the laundry room!

What a great contest! I have been thinking about what I would love to use the Silhouette Cameo for…..I recently found a box of my late Dad’s sermons and wondering how I could incorporate them into my decor. I saw the “Thankful Box” that your friend made, and it just “yelled” at me!!

    Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I thought my first project would be a card, but after seeing some of your creations, I might have to make something to hang on the wall!

This would be wonderful to make wrapping paper with pictures taken of family members that have passed away so as to remember , feel more like they are sharing still in our holidays and to help talk with the little grandchildren about out times so to help pass on memories and events of the family.
