DIY Green and Red Christmas Wreath

As I shared with you earlier this week my festive green and red kitchen, I also showed you a wreath that I made new this year.  Working with Tree Classics this season they let me choose some things I wanted to try and I asked them to send me this huge assortment of red and green shatter proof Christmas ornaments to work with and they were perfect for making this wreath.  I only used 1/2 the … [Read more...]

Creatively Christmas with Jen Rizzo

Painting Gold Stripes on Candles

So, I’ve got one more project to share with you for FrogTape®.   And, of course, it’s a Christmas idea.  I’ve seen those pretty striped gold candles around, so I figured why not make my own.  I took 2 white candles and taped them off with FrogTape and used my gold spray paint to spray stripes on them.  They turned out really cute and I tried them  out to make sure they wouldn’t blow up from the … [Read more...]

Red and White Christmas Craft

I spotted this metal container at Goodwill for … [Read more...]

I love using these real plants for a centerpiece.  You can plant them outdoors later if you wish. Here’s my completed centerpiece with all the red and … [Read more...]

Of course, I said yes!  I know a lot of bloggers here in the Atlanta area and it wasn’t hard to get a … [Read more...]

Making a DIY Christmas Grapevine Wreath

As part of our Lowes Christmas challenge this month, one of the things we could choose to make is a wreath, so that’s what I did.  Using an old grapevine wreath that had seen better days, I shopped at Lowes and found some pretty and sparkly things to bring this wreath to life.  And wow, does it look so much better now! Lowes has some ready made Christmas things on the shelves and you can find … [Read more...]
