Madison, GA Spring Tour of Homes

Happy Mother's Day to all of you!  We are celebrating today as we usually do with mom.  Lauren is home with the girls again, so I'll be sure and do a recap post of Mother's Day and all the fun we are having this weekend with those babes. Looking back, it's amazing to me that I've never traveled the mere 1 and 1/2 hours from the Atlanta area and my side of town to the charmingly gracious … [Read more...]

High Point Design Blogger Tour

Last weekend, I spent a couple of days scouring the High Point Spring market for all sorts of inspiration, in and out of showrooms with the Design Bloggers Tour and it was so inspiring and fun.  It's tiring to see and take in that much in a short period of time, but we all made it through to the end.  I took in so much it was practically design overload, although what a way to go!  If there's … [Read more...]

Travel Tips: Organizing Your Suitcase

It's probably no secret on my blog that I love to travel. Jr. League of Atlanta 20th annual Tour of Kitchens

It … [Read more...]

Going back to High Point Market!

Almost 4 years ago, I went on my own and met up with some other bloggers to High Point, NC furniture market, the mecca of furniture manufacturing here in the US.  That's where all the major American furniture makers are making their furniture and the market is open twice a year showcasing all of the new and beautiful products that are going to be available to the public this year.  It's a world I … [Read more...]

Antiques Shopping in Nashville

I love getting out in other cities to browse their antiques stores, so when I had the chance to do that in Nashville recently, I was happy to find a new spot to look at vintage goodies.  Shopping antiques markets and thrift stores has been on my radar for a long time now and I still enjoy browsing and seeing the possibilities in using older pieces in my home.  I'm definitely not all about just new … [Read more...]
