Feature Friday: Finding Home

I love discovering new to me blogs and I just discovered Laura at Finding Home right around Christmas.  Wow, is Laura’s home beautiful!  She’s a decorator, a wife and mama and all around talented lady.  When you see these pics, you will totally agree with me.  The girl has style, class, and taste in abundance.

What a cute family!

So, come along for another beautiful home tour.  You will not be disappointed with this real life home and if you are dying to see more, you can view lots more pics at Laura’s Home Tour page.

Laura says it well on her blog:

Through my design business and through our own experiences, I have found we are trying to accomplish one thing. We are all searching, we are all FINDING HOME.

Thank you for the extremely kind feature. It is an honor to be here at your blog and I so appreciate it. Your kind heart reads through so well on this blog and I am so glad to have had the chance to “meet” you.

    Take care,

I love this house and will probably be “pinning” some of these pictures to my Pinterest boards. This is really silly but one of my favorite rooms is that mudroom…love all the organization. Wish I had had one of those when my kiddos were little!!

  6. That is one beautiful home! I LOVE her style as well! Thank you for sharing the tour!

  7. Your home is lovely and it looks so warm and cozy..one that anybody would feel comfortable in. I love it! You see pictures of some houses that are so elegant but you’d be afraid to even sit down in them. You feel like telling yourself “Stand still, don’t touch!” but not yours. Your house says ” Welcome! Come in and let’s have some tea. Or “How about a glass of Ice tea or a cup of coffee?”

I love so many of your accessories and so many things I saw in the pictures have inspired me. Thank You for the house tour. Now if I can’t only convince my DH of the changes I’d like to make. We have always done our own remodeling, painting and wallpapering, but he can’t do the physical work anymore; all he sees is $ signs when I talk about making changes. Guess I’ll just have to keep looking at your photos when I get down in the dumps!

  8. Laura has such a beautiful home. I love all the wonderful vignettes she puts together :)

  9. Love Laura’s home – all the little details make it truly one of a kind!

  10. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!

  11. What a beautiful home…I normally don’t like wallpaper, but I loved the wallpaper patterns in her home. Do you happen to know where she got her wallpaper? Love her guest room!

  12. What a beautiful home! Love it.

  15. I follow Laura’s blog, and love her home! I’m especially fond of her family room and kitchen. Your tour has shown me a few peeks into rooms that I haven’t seen before on her blog. Lovely feature!

  16. Love her floors! Perfect color!

  17. Thank you for sharing Laura’s most beautiful and creative home…it’s a stunner!

  18. Hi Rhoda,

It’s been a while since I’ve stopped by your blog. We were in the same online photography class together a few summers ago. Hope you’re still having fun practicing. The house tour you shared is stunning!!! I have followed her blog for a while, but didn’t realize how gorgeous her home was! I’m very inspired.

I’m revealing a new blog design this weekend and I’d love it if you’d stop by on Sunday to see how it looks!

  19. So homey :)

    Thanks for sharing,

    Have a great week-end Rhoda,

    Kathy :)

  20. I love the subtle prints on the walls – not sure if it is stenciled or papered, but wall paper has been absent for a while and suddenly, these subtle ones look so fresh and beautiful with all the neutrals in the rooms. This is a lovely welcoming home.

  21. This house looks like it could be a set on a movie. I love the use of wallpaper… You just don’t see it much any more. The basement is set up for some great entertaining. I would love to have a set up like that.

  22. This really is a beautiful and cozy home.
    Kelly

  23. Such a beautiful home! Thanks for sharing it with us, Rhoda…loved the tour!
