Sunday is my birthday and my hubby and I are going to attend a Christmas concert at one of our local churches. I adore Christmas music and can’t think of a better way to enjoy my birthday! And we’ll go out to my favorite Italian restaurant for a birthday meal on Monday.

Happy Birthday – mine’s next Wednesday. I always hated having a Birthday close to Christmas as a kid, but now I love it b/c I can celebrate while everything is decorated for the season.
Rhoda: Thanks for the ideas about plate hanging. It’s so funny, I haven’t looked at your site in a while since I’ve been away, but I have been trying to locate these plate hangers and haven’t been having much luck. I did find some at Walmart, but I’m cheap and don’t like to spend much on anything. So, I’m thinking of different options that are less expensive. I am great with a glue gun and have used a glue gun and the pull tops from soda cans also. They don’t show and will last a long time. Plus, if you throw the plate in the freezer, the glue will be easily removed. Just a thought. Thank you for your beautiful blog. I check in on you when I need a lift.
