I never go to black tie events, but it would be fun and I would sport a black dress and definitely some bling to accessorize and cute shoes for sure. Black tux or suit for hubby (Poor things, they are kind of boring) I love being a girl! Lol ;D

Yoga pants, sweats or jeans …depends on weather really. I always fix hair and make-up because you never know what a day may bring. I like to be prepared, girl!

I am always casual. I like jeans and a t-shirt no matter what. In a cute since of course. That is just me.

At night I like regular pajamas or undies;-)

When I’m home, I’m in my underwear. I know it is crazy but I usually start to change clothes but get stuck in the process. A kid needs my attention RIGHT NOW or my husband needs an aspirin RIGHT NOW. My children are just like me. If you come to our house around 6:30 pm on a weeknight, every person you see will be in underwear only. We like comfort.

I dont get dressed when I am at home. I dont really dress up much unless when I am going to a formal even. I am a t-shirt and jeans type of girl. For formal events I wear a cute outfit, usually a dress, and purse and shoes

I’ve never been invited to a black tie affair so I really can’t comment on that. But I’ve found that I can still “dress up” without dressing up (if you catch my drift by pairing an ultra-feminine blouse and catchy accessories with plain ol’ jeans. Yep. Try it. You’ll turn heads.

Basic black with glamorous accessories for me and a black suit with a dark tie for my husband would constitute “black tie”. We rarely have a need for super dress up clothes so we try to keep it attractive, but affordable too.

I’m from the old school of thought that black tie is tuxes for men and floor-length gowns for women….but then again, I LOVE dressing up!

I live in the south and go to 1 or 2 black tie events a year. The men who own tuxes always wear them – the rest just wear black suits. I usually wear a long dress (I’ve got a half dozen or so) but the women wear either long, dressy short or dressy pants with “fancy” tops.

At home just around the house I usually wear my workout pants and a sweater in the summer or shorts and a t-shirt in the summer.

I try to look nice whenever I leave the house though
