{Giveaway is Closed}

The South is all about sweet tea, but here are a couple of books all about the history of tea from all over the world, as well as entertaining with tea. Everything you always wanted to know about tea from Certified Tea Specialist, Lisa Boalt Richardson.

Did you ever have a tea party growing up? I think every little girl dreamed of tea parties at one time or another. This one is all about tea traditions all over the world. And this one is about entertaining and cooking with tea.

You might find this hard to believe, me being Southern and all, but I don’t drink iced tea. I know! :) It’s crazy, but for some reason, I just didn’t get that sweet tea gene that most everyone I know from the South got from being raised here.  All my family loves sweet tea, but I just don’t. I do like raspberry or peach tea, but just plain tea.  Naaaaahhh! I can do without it.

But, I know a lot of folks love their tea, hot or cold, take your pick.  So, if you’re a tea lover, I think you’ll enjoy these books. They are both full of pretty and colorful pics, recipes and a lot of great entertaining ideas for your own tea party.

So, if you’d like to win a copy of this, just leave a comment telling me if you LOVE tea and what is your favorite thing about it.  Do you like it hot or cold?

You might be like me and not care for tea that much.

I’ll leave this giveaway open until Monday night and the lucky winner will get both books.

As a special little bonus, I was also sent samples of a tea and lemonade mixture from Honest Tea and you’ll also get to sample those too.

I love raspberry tea best. But a good cup of Oolong is happy too. I would never choose tea over coffee but it is a nice deviation. My daughter loves all things tea and at seven her favorite magazine it called Tea Time by the publishers of Southern Lady I think. She is my little tea queen.

Rhoda I have a post up about sweet tea today on my blog. Having just visited North Carolina I got hooked on sweet tea! I have been making it in Calif ever since with none other than Luzianne Tea!! I added a few fun pitchers to put the tea in also!!

Hi Rhoda,

I LOVE TEA…both hot and cold…and drink it on a daily basis. Being a “southern belle”, I grew up on sweet tea. I have the pitcher my mother always served it in and it is very special to me because it is a sweet reminder of her.

Love your blog. I read it daily.

Sweet tea blessings,

Marlee

I have a ministry to international students studying here in the United States. Tea is something that is very important to them and I would love to have these books as a resource for having outreaches to these special students.

I love so many different types of teas, hot and cold! English breakfast, mint, camomile, jasmine and oolong for my hot teas and good old Luzianne , Red Diamond or Lipton for my iced! Thanks so much for your blog, you never fail to have an interesting one!!!

I love hot tea and iced tea. I usually drink regular tea for iced tea with lemon and like the flavored ones sometimes for hot tea. This is a wonderful giveaway.

My sisters both start every day with tea. They absolutely adore it. I’ve never acquired the taste for it, but oh, how I love a tea party!

I even collect tea cups! I love constant comment with some cream and sweetener. Cold tea is OK – but I think hot in the winter is best!

I love tea. I look forward to my 10:00 a.m. hot tea and cookies. It breaks up my work day and gives me something to look forward to. I add cinnamon to my hot tea because I have read that it helps moderate sugar levels. Don’t know if it is true, but I like the way it tastes anyway.

I love tea! But, unsweetened tea, not the sweet stuff. I know, that is strange for someone who has lived in the south their whole life. And in the evenings (except for right now when it is so hot) I love green tea right before bed.

Hot or cold Raspberry tea is my favorite! Although when I go home; which just happens to be south, I’ll drink sweet tea where it is made right!

I am a tea lover and host 2 tea parties a year for me and my friends to enjoy. We have several courses of food at lunch and they can select from my tea menu of flavors I have at the time – usually at least 20 choices. I love hot tea because it feels like a treat when enjoyed from a fancy china teacup. One of my favorite flavors is blackberry sage.

I am fairly new to tea so I haven’t really formed a opinion yet

I love cold sweet tea. Some nights I will have a cup of hot tea. I love tea cups and have a small collection. :0)

I love tea, both hot and cold. One of my favorite things is trying out new flavors and varieties, like Chocolate Hazelnut, or Vanilla Rooibos.

I love iced tea. I prefer it unsweetened with lemon but also like the fruit flavored teas – mango being my favorite so far.
