Another fun shop that I visited recently is Peridot. In the Westside design district on Howell Mill Road, Peridot is a treasure trove of eye candy. It’s a beautiful shop full of design inspiration and I know you’ll enjoy the tour.
Eye candy galore.
Lots of shiny and pretty decorative accessories are scattered around Peridot.
The stylists have set up the store to be very visually appealing.
Sofas, pillows, rugs, lots of furniture items to see.
It was fun to see Dash and Albert rugs in person.
Old vintage objects are scattered around too as a backdrop.
Isn’t this beautiful orchid pretty in this clam shell display?
Pretty pillows.
Dishes displayed on a bookcase.
Loved this bed, bedding and that fabulous chandelier.
More pretty pillows.
There’s that chandy up close. Gorge!
Starburst mirror and tufted headboard.
Lovely framed prints.
A whole wall of Dash and Albert rugs! Oh, how I love the stripes of Dash and Albert.
So many colors and stripes to choose from. One day, I just might have a Dash and Albert myself.
Aren’t these blue shutters just beautiful.
More pretty pillows in browns and blues.
This chandy was absolutely HUGE!
A pretty vignette, love these lamps.
This hanging bed swing was so incredible. Wouldn’t you love this on a porch?
And a pretty starburst gold mirror.
I love showing you some new spots to check out in Atlanta. Not a thrifting place, but lots of eye candy and ideas to glean from, you will enjoy strolling through Peridot and seeing it for yourself, so stop by and check it out.
I’m hanging out today over at Hometalk, a fun online community for home improvement. You can go over and see lots of inspiration pics, as well as ask questions and get feedback from home improvement professionals from all over the country. A great place to glean information for any project around the house.
They are featuring my former living room with aqua accents and having a giveaway for $250 Home Depot giftcard, just for answering a question. I’d love for one of YOU to win this, so please click over and take a look at the contest that starts today!
{Disclosure: I have been compensated for my time from Hometalk.com with a giftcard.}

As usual, Rhoda, you’ve given us a treasure trove of eye candy…I’m seriously coveting all those wonderful accessories! It’s a good thing I don’t work there, because I’d never come home with a paycheck!
Thanks for sharing!

Another gorgeous shop, Rhoda.
BTW…Peridot is J and youngest daughter’s birthstone.

I love orchids but my townhouse doesn’t get the right kind of light for them. That artificial one would look beautiful in my house though. Thanks for sharing.
Suzanne @ Welcome to Willow House says
Thanks for the tour, Rhoda. I may have to plan a trip to visit some of these places!
I want to give a shout out to another store I think you would enjoy, Fun Finds and Designs in Canton, GA. Betty Anderson has done a fabulous job in turning this upscale furniture/decor consignment store into a place of beauty. Betty offers interior decorating services and free in-store classes, as well. The store has been featured in both Appalachian Country Magazine and Southern Living Magazine. This tucked away treasure is worth a visit!

Thanks so much for sharing the photos of you visit to Perido…it is a gorgeous store! Something that I have not seen before (but might be tempted to copy cat ) is the tiny sunburst mirrors on stands. Love the gallery of interesting objects from your home in B’ham.

What a beautiful store! Thanks for showing all the beautiful displays and products. What kind of camera do you use? (the pics are gorgeous)
Rhoda says
Hi, Shauna, I have a Canon T1i and really enjoy it. I’m still a novice, but have figured out how to do a lot with it. I’m still going to take a class soon.

Sorry, girls, but this is a shop in ATL and I have no idea how to make that swing. It’s pretty, isn’t it?!
