Your Thrifty Treasures

Here are some fun highlights from last week’s party!  So glad many of you are signing up and showing off your treasures every week.  Like I said before, I sure don’t need to be out yardsaling right now (unless I’m shopping FOR someone), so I’m trying to stay away from the tempting signs!

Centsible Savings found this chandy for $4 which has a similar feel to popular lantern styles.

Creative Juices Decor turned this thriftstore map into a work of art on the wall.  Love this idea!

Allison at Fab Rehab found this pretty French style table for FREE!  You gotta love that.

Keller Creative found this retro lamp at Goodwill for $2.98 and recovered a shade in a snazzy new fabric to update this old beauty.

Myra found these at Goodwill and discovered they are some kind of stamps, probably wallpaper or fabric stamps.  She promptly painted them Heirloom White and how interesting they are.

Sue from Stamping and Scrappin’ found a pretty old silver trophy for $2.  Score!

Wanda from Just Vintage found a cool old metal watering can, which are always fun to find.

What have YOU found lately? Add your link to the Linky list and remember our guidelines for the party.

There are a TON of parties out there to highlight all your projects, so please let’s keep this one about thrifty finds that were bought 2nd hand!

  1. Add your permalink to the link list, which is the actual post that you did for this party, NOT your general blog url. To get the actual post, after you publish the post, just click on the title and THAT will be your party post url. PLEASE try to get the correct url in the first time! :)
  2. Please add my button to your post or blog OR at least link back to this post in your post. That’s all I ask. It’s common courtesy to link back to the person having the party, so that all of your readers can find it too.
  3. Please do NOT link to an Etsy shop or something similar (even if you think it’s a fabulous deal) or I will delete the link. This party is for sharing thrifty finds from yardsales, thriftstores, or something along those lines. If I see that your post is not really on track with this theme AND you don’t link back, I’ll delete your link. Sorry, but I’d like to keep the party consistent! IF YOU SEE THAT YOUR LINK HAS BEEN DELETED, IT IS PROBABLY BECAUSE IT IS NOT IN LINE WITH THIS PARTY THEME.

Oh yes. I am with you.
I am staying away from those yard sales and thrift stores for a while.
I will be on Hoarders if I continue.

    LOL.

Rhoda, it was so sweet of you to feature the watering can! I didn’t get out this week – can you imagine? – so have no new thrifty treasures to share.

    Hi Rhoda –
I enjoy the Thrifty Treasures feature so much. Especially when I see that items I’ve had for almost 40 years and still use everyday is now called “vintage!” I enjoy your blog so much!

Hi Rhoda! It was so nice to meet you at Home Goods! I had lots of fun shopping! I goofed somehow when I linked my thrift store chair up and there is no thumbnail.
