Thanks for stopping by my Feature Friday series, a wonderful compilation of some beautiful homes across the web. Some are magazine features, but most are real life homes from bloggers around the country and home tours I’ve had the privilege of touring in person. Enjoy!
It may take a few seconds to load all the pics, but it’s definitely worth the wait!

I just found your blog, I have enjoyed peaking around and getting so many ideas. We also live in the Atlanta area and have slowly redone our house after we raised our family in it. I don’t know your story but welcome to Georgia, it is a wonderful place to live.

Love your blog! it is just what i needed tonight. we have been in our house for a few months and my remodeling money has dwindled. i need inspirations on a budget! where do you buy your curtain rods? i want them to look simple, but elegant (but inexpensive of course!).
Rhoda says
Hi, Becky, I have recently bought curtain rods for my new house at Homegoods, Ross, and Kirklands. Check them all out for inexpensive and simple rods.

Hi Rhoda,
I loved all the fabulous things you have listed in your blog. I have lived in Southern California my entire life and recently have been considering moving to Georgia. Your blog really reaffirms my quest for a wonderful southern lifestyle. I am so looking forward to your feature Friday series.

Hi Rhoda, I just bumped into your site and wanted to thank you for the ‘tour’ section…I was unable to go to the Marietta Pilgrimage this year and was very depressed about not getting to go…your site has helped me to lift out of the fog and find joy in seeing inside beautiful homes! Thank You! I’ve actually been in a couple of these homes thru the Marietta Pilgrimage’s in the past and you refreshed my memories with wonderful photos of some of my favorite spots! PLEASE continue to tour and photograph more Marietta homes! they are wonderful and full of stories, not to mention just the beauty of them! You made my day! Hugs to you!

Rhoda,
You have taken this rather plain house and over time made it with your father’s help a charming, lovely, welcoming, home! Your new patio is another beautiful addition and just in time for Memorial Day! I am so excited for you. Everything looks amazing. Enjoy!

Hello,
We are building our dream home finally and when I say we I mean WE. My husband and his dad built our K cabinets, my husband made our counter tops himself..it’s amazing! He designed it and built it from scratch. I would love to share it with you and let others see what you can do it you put your mind to it like you have….we built all of our vanitys out of recycled things we already had…that was my job, and I love redoing furniture. But his top is a one of a kind and deserves to be seen. Its made out of yellow pine, and stained with jacobean.
Thank you for your time and your understanding of saving a dollar by doing it yourselves. Please let me know if you would like to see some pics….it’s truley a piece of art…
