Vinyl Wall Art from Back 40 Life {and a giveaway}

{Giveaway is Closed}

Recently, I  met Jodi, a stay at home mom who runs her own vinyl wall art business, Back 40 Life. Jodi has some fabulous items that I just love and so we’ve partnered together and added some of her products to my Open Sky shop.  I already had some vinyl wall art before I met Jodi, but I totally love what she has to offer.  The personalized monograms and Bible verses are dear to my heart.  And I’m excited to be partnering with Jodi by bringing her business together with my online shop.

Jodi’s story is very inspiring for any of us who are looking to re-invent ourselves in a more creative way:

I am blessed to have a super-supportive husband and two precious children.  We live out in the country on 9 acres, which we’ve always jokingly referred to as “the back 40”.  We’ve been self-employed for 7 out of the 9 years we’ve been married.  A few years ago amidst the stress & fast-pace of a successful construction business we began to realize that our business was taking over our family and that we were hardly enjoying life because we were working non-stop.  We began to scale back our commitments, evaluate every decision more carefully and begin to make changes that would allow us to live a slower, more family-oriented lifestyle.  Thus began the dream of Back40Life…a slower pace that celebrated the simplicity of life and found enjoyment in the everyday.

We started our vinyl business last May, not long after our little girl was born, mostly as a creative outlet for me and to earn some extra income from home to help compensate for the slow-down in the construction industry.  Little did we know what God had in store.  He has blessed us tremendously and allowed our business to grow, and we’re now at a place where we’re close to supporting our family entirely with Back40Life.  One of the things I love most about working with vinyl decals is that it allows me to be creative without being artistic and to provide affordable home decor items that bring enjoyment everyday.

Like this pretty 23 x 23″ monogram letter, in a scrolly background.

Or this solid one in the same size.

Or how about a vintage style framed monogram letter with a significant date, such as an anniversary year.  I absolutely love this scripture and if you’ve noticed, this one is on my sidebar.  It’s my very favorite scripture and the one I consider MY special verse.  To me, this one says it all. And this one is a fave for many too, a wonderful and encouraging verse from Jeremiah that I think all of us can relate to.   Holding on to scriptures have always been important to me in my walk with the Lord.

I’m so happy to be carrying all of these beautiful vinyls in my Open Sky shop and I hope that you will enjoy them too.  And I am tickled to help support a work at home mom like Jodi to keep her business running also.

The Welcome vinyls are not in the shop yet, nor is the verse that I have above my door “As for Me and My House, We will Serve the Lord”, but hopefully we’ll get those 2 in very soon!

Click on over to my Open Sky shop for all the details and prices!  I think you’re going to love these.  I have SO enjoyed having my scripture verse over the door of our home.  And the Welcome has been a fun way to show people who come over to our house that they truly are Welcome in our home.  Another good point to the Welcome on the door is that you can easily tell people which house you live in. 🙂

And to have some fun today, we’re going to offer TWO of you a Welcome vinyl for your front door (all different colors available).  All you have to do is leave a comment and tell us which one of these is your fave.  I’ll pick a winner on Monday evening.

    I would ADORE a welcome sign on our front door, it would be a great motivater for me to spruce up the front of the house. I’ve been so busy worrying about the back deck area so far this year, the front porch has been a little neglected. Thanks for the chance to win!

    I would love a “welcome” sign for our front door. Also, do you make signs to order?

    I love all of them! The verse above the door in the entry is a good one. I think the monograms would lok great on a mailbox or in a guest powder room and work around the monogram for all other decorating.

    I think that if I have to pick one, it would be the Trust in the Lord verse. That is one of my very faves! I also would love the Welcome sign too!

    I love the Welcome sign! It would be a great addition to my rather plain garden home. I’m slowly but surely working on ways to set our home apart (in a good way) from the masses. And I need ALL the help I can get. LOL!

    I love the monogram with the year, especially with the “established” anniversary year!
