Feature Friday: Cristi’s Coastal Inspired Utah Dream Home

by Rhoda on July 8, 2011

in Decorating Details,Feature Fri.

In case you haven’t seen this beautiful dream home in blogland yet, let me introduce you to Cristi and her husband, Jeff, who recently completed building their coastal inspired dream home in Utah.  With inspiration pulled from both Hawaii and the Hamptons, this house is truly awe inspiring and will make you drop your jaw big time.

I did!  This is truly one of the prettiest homes I’ve ever seen.

Instead of writing Cristi and Jeff’s story all over again, please go over to Erin’s House of Turquoise, who first wrote about this beautiful home for all the details on how it came to be.  There are lots of particulars in her posts about the builder, designer, as well as product information.

For the entire lineup of beautiful pics, go over to Cristi’s Facebook page.

Cristi is also a super talented photographer and has her own business, Hiya Papaya with friend and partner, Jessi.  Wait til you see these girls’ work!   Blown away beautiful photos.

Is this stunning or what?

Get a load of the details on this house.  You can see how the Hampton’s influenced decisions made, with those weathered gray shakes.  Wow, I love it!

That aqua door and shutters really sets it off.

What an entryway this is.

Have you ever seen such a beautiful chandy?

Cristi is a super talented photographer and took all these pics.

Beautiful coastal cottage style.

So much eye candy to look at.

Lovely green and white bathroom.

A WOW kind of kitchen!

Love these vintage pieces of furniture too.

Can you stand how gorgeous this kitchen is?

The attention to detail is amazing.

Just an outstanding house.

They spent a year and 1/2 building and designing.

and they must be so excited to live in this space.

Wow keeps coming to mind.

Breakfast area.

Aqua and yellow bathroom.

There are a ton more pics over at Cristi’s Facebook page, so be sure and go over there. And if you want lots more info about the house and products, visit Erin at House of Turquoise.

Did you love this house tour as much as I did?

When I first saw that house on House of Turquoise, my jaw dropped as well. It’s stunning. The most gorgeous house I’ve seen on blogland yet.

I could move in and wouldn’t have to change a single thing. It’s perfect!

Hey, Rhoda! I’ve seen this house before and it certainly deserves a second, third and fourth look! LOVE it.

Sorry I couldn’t spend more time shopping and exploring Woodstock more yesterday. We spent 2 1/2 hours at the pool, and the girls got to see so many of their “old friends” from Johnson Ferry.

Thanks for a great visit. I enjoyed talking and getting to know you better! I really hope some of the connections you made at the shops help get you back into doing what you love, decorating!

God bless you, sweet woman!

Wow…just WOW! If that was my home I would wake up every morning and pinch myself that I actually got to live there. And then I would go into every room and just admire the beauty all day. ~jealous

Thank you for the lovely feature, Rhoda! And yes, we actually ARE pinching ourselves every single day that we get to live here!! After years and years of dreaming and saving and then the long building process, it almost doesn’t seem real yet. Thanks for all the nice comments!
