Time to celebrate our freedom and enjoy the 4th of July weekend! Hope you and yours have a simply splendid time of gathering together and enjoying this special day in our country’s history.

Are you doing anything fun? We don’t have a lot of outdoor things planned for the day (it’s SO dang HOT), but we will be attending the Birmingham Tea Party again this evening. Hope to see a few of you there!

Happy 4th of July! We are blessed to have our freedom.

Light some sparklers and shoot off some fireworks!

I haven’t even checked the paper yet to see if there are many yardsales this weekend, but even if I don’t make it to any (and I probably will :), I’ll still have the party starting Sunday evening. See you then!

Happy 4th! How awesome that you are going to the tea party. There is one near us, but we won't make it. I'm kind of bummed.

    Rhoda,
We already grilled and now we're going to chill for the rest of the day. Rainy and yucky here; won't be doing anything outside. Enjoy your day!

Happy 4th of July, Rhoda! I absolutely love that star pillow, perfect for the day. I made it to 3 sales in my neighborhood, so I'll be posting on Monday–see you then. Out to the pool now!

Hi, Rhoda. Hope you had a wonderful holiday! Did you manage to find any yard sales at all? I didn't find a single estate/tag sale in my area. It's tough when we have to go a whole weekend without feeding our addictions!!!

I'm kidding (mostly). The 4th is definitely one or most celebration-worthy holidays, isn't it?

    Warmest regards,
    Bill

It was so hot here we barely went outside all day. Settled for a quiet 4th watching a Netflix movie. Lovely photos!

I hope you're enjoying the holiday weekend.

I love those pillows. I've been wanting some flag pillows to use in our sunroom during the holiday, but I haven't found any I like yet. I might see if Pottery Barn put theirs on sale yet.

Rhoda, I just noticed you've passed the 1000 mark! That's a LOT of followers, and you richly deserve to have every single one of US hanging on your every word and drinking in every wonderful image you share.

    GO, RHODA!!!
