Another Home & Seasons Treasure Trolley Adventure

We had another Treasure Trolley adventure this week with Home and Seasons shop in Acworth and it was another fun time. If you’re local to me, you might enjoy hearing about the nearby places we stopped in Cartersville, Rome, and Rockmart. All were places I had never been to before, namely because I’m not shopping as much these days, but there’s still nothing like shopping an antiques store or consignment store in person. That’s always fun! We started out around 8:30, leaving from the store in Acworth and headed out on the big bus. I’ve become friends with Jennifer, the owner of Home and Seasons and it was great to have her back after her foot surgery earlier this year.

We ride in style on this big His Majesty bus and it’s a wonderful way to to on a trip like this. Just sit back, relax and shop! There was plenty of room below for smaller things found and if anyone found furniture, they would have to go back and get it later. I bought just a few things I’ll share with you.

This time, I invited 2 of my neighbors to go, so they signed up and we all went together. It was fun having friends around to chat with all day. That’s Wanda in the middle and Yvonne by the window. They live on both sides of us, so right next door neighbors. Yvonne is the one I helped with her recent living room redo.

We headed to Cartersville first to Deal Dayz. Some had been here before, but it was my first time. It’s in a plain warehouse space with a big open room filled with bins that are Amazon returns (or something like that).

There was a lot to dig through and I can imagine it could be addicting to go often and see what’s there. I only bought a couple of things, swim trunks for Mark, and a tablecloth for outside and a couple of other items for me.  I spent $12 here.  Every bin had a mish-mash of things so there was no rhyme or reason in there, just a digging opportunity. The clothes were in one area though. Each day has a different deal going, so you can check that out if you’re interested in going. It’s downtown Cartersville.

Next, we headed to River City Antiques in Rome and this was definitely one of our favorite stops of the day.

They had beautifully curated spaces with some set up like rooms and they had a nice variety of antiques and some new as well.

I loved their collection of artwork and rugs.

Lots of pretty artwork.

And a lot of booths to browse. They were so nice and had a spread of food out for us to enjoy.

Treasure hunting is fun!

This collection of rugs was really nice and I spotted several good deals I could have brought home if I really needed more rugs.

Lots of goodies to see.

I did spot a couple of jewelry pieces in here that I took home. This Susan Shaw necklace and those earrings. This is my splurge of the day and then later I found some stacking bracelets that look great with this as well. The necklace wasn’t cheap at $139, but I looked up Susan Shaw jewelry online (affiliate link) and this necklace sells for $220, so I did get a good deal! I just found this as I wrote this post, so now I’m really happy. I didn’t find it when I searched in the store.

Also in Rome, Cotton Block Pickers, another antiques and collectibles stop.

Cute wreath.

Next stop, Rockmart and Decor & Antiques.

What’s New consignment shop for clothes.

We then headed to another area of Rockmart, where we went to our final stops of the day. First up, Hey Y’all Southern Market.

Another fun shop to browse.

This is where I found the stacking bracelet that’s going to look great with my new necklace and earrings. This one has 5 strands and it was $40, just my style and taste. I am crazy about turquoise jewelry. I know it’s not all real turquoise, but for my purposes, I love it! Now it’s time to clean out my jewelry case.

The Thrifty Nickel was nearby as well.

Down the street was Gathering with Grace and they had lots to look at too.

I hope you enjoyed this shopping excursion. We had a great time and I’m sure we will do another one. They are already scheduled for 2 more this year, one in September (which I’ll have to miss) and one in December for Christmas, which I think we will all do again. It’s a fun time with the girls and a great way to shop and not deal with all the traffic! Come along and join us next time if you’re local! Home and Seasons is a great shop in Acworth, so check it out if you haven’t been. They have 50 vendors and carry a wide variety of clothing, antiques, gift ideas, and lots more!
