{Giveaway is now closed!)

Someone’s getting an early Christmas present!!

So, I’m SO SO excited about this giveaway today.  Most of you probably are familiar with the Silhouette company and their nifty crafting machines that cut vinyl and do lots of crafty projects. You’ve seen these projects all over blogland.

Cameo

Well, I just received my very own new and updated Cameo and can’t wait to get started with it in my new office.  I’m going to get myself organized and do all sorts of vinyl words to spread around my office baskets and also use it in the kitchen to organize the clear jars.  There are SO many things you can do with this fun crafting machine.

I’m showing off some projects that some of my blog friends have made to show the variety of projects that can be done with this wonder gadget.  It does SO SO much!  If you are crafty at all, you’ll love having this machine around.

Baby Boy Room_Brooke

Brooke made these owl art pics from vinyl and old windows. How clever is this?

Bailey_Farm_Crate_End_Sign_2

Brittany made a cute wooden sign with her Silhouette.

clock pillow Stacy

Stacy’s cute clock pillow was made by using fabric, that’s how versatile it is.

cottagestylecurtains_Brooke

Brooke also made this adorable knife and fork curtain panels, whimsical and cute!

Lindsay snowflakes

Snowflakes made from cardstock and glitterized by Lindsay are perfect for the holidays.

Snowflakes Lindsay

She added them to some clear candle holders too for some festive fun.

party favors Roeshel

Roeshel threw a party and cut these adorable boxes out of cardstock.

And she made these wooden blocks with vinyl crowns, painted and distressed them.

thankful_box Myra

And Myra put together this oh so cute Thankful box using sheet music and a pretty font.

Love all of these projects!

Wouldn’t you love to win one of these fantastically fun machines??  I know you would!!  It’s a special week of fun giveaways at Silhouette and they are giving away Cameos and Portrait crafting machines all over blogland!  Imagine the possibilities of what you could do with this fun machine!

I thought at first I would use the Silhouette for birds to finish a vintage dressing table for grandgirlies for Christmas now I see the snowflakes so maybe those first.

I would have a hard time deciding where to start first there are just so many things I want to make with one of these machines. I think I would first make some wording stencil to paint on a headboard I am making.

I know I’ll be disqualified coz I don’t live in the US but I just wanted to share that I bought one sometime ago and only got to use it for one project. Then it broke down and I couldn’t get it fixed because there were no service centers here in the UAE. I lost my money and I couldn’t afford to get it shipped back to the US for repairs and then pay again for return shipping. now there are so many projects I wished I could do like making decals for the house or screen printing patterns for some gifts I want to make. Wished silhouette would have a branch here in Dubai soon.

I’ve been posting this comment on most silhouette giveaway posts hoping silhouette America will listen to my pleas…

Wow! I did not realize all the things the cameo could do! Initially I would start with decorative designs (similar to the snowflakes Lindsay created above), then branch out from there.
    Thanks Rhoda for this opportunity!

Be still, my heart! <3 If I won the coveted Silhouette Cameo that I've been begging my husband to buy for me for over a year now the very first thing I would make would be a vinyl for my home that would say…"THANK YOU, SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY…YOU'RE A 'CUT ABOVE THE REST'!" 😀

I would L.O.V.E. to win this! I have stacks of old bleacher wood in my garage I have been wanting to make signs out of; but handpainting them all will take so much time. This is the perfect thing to get those signs done. Thanks for hosting the giveaway and I hope I win! : )

I build paper models in addition to scrapbooking, and having a Cameo to cut out the printed pages for me would save so much time! So I would use my Cameo for making a paper city!

I’d make an advent calendar! If not in time for this year, then I’d get it done first thing so I’d be sure to have it for next year. 🙂
