Blissdom Fun

Picture 006

We’re having a blast at Blissdom!  This is me and my roomies (Shannon with Southern Beauty and Christy with SouthernPlate)  getting ready to check in at the Gaylord Opryland, which is an experience in itself.  I just adore these girls, we are some of the GRITS contingent from Alabama, for sure.

Picture 011

It’s such a beautiful place to have a conference and hang out for a few days.  Bliss indeed!

Picture 023The home-y girls were in full force and it’s been so much fun to meet many more of them this time around.  How many of these girls do you recognize?  From left to right:

Emily –  Chatting at the Sky

Emily – Remodeling this Life

Lindsay – Living with Lindsay

Melissa – The Inspired Room

ME

The Nester – Nesting Place

Sandy – Reluctant Entertainer

Kimba – A Soft Place to Land

Jen – Balancing Beauty and Bedlam

Laryssa – L. Herbert Designs

Gina – Shabby  Chic Cottage

Of course, I have a ton of pics to share, so you’ll hear much more about the conference later.  We’re still in the middle of sessions.

One of the highlights last night was this guy, a personal  concert just for us Blissdom girls!

Picture 063

Recognize this guy?   Yep, Harry Connick, Jr. sang just for us and it was SO great.  The concert got moved to Friday night because Harry has been invited to sing at the Super Bowl.

Yippee!  Go Saints!

Be back soon!

Enjoy! We are counting on you for an entire report! We are in the midst of a blizzard in NJ — 24 inches last night and predictions of an additional 10 today.
