Browsing Boxwoods Gardens & Lunch at Swan Coach House

If you’re in the Atlanta area and looking for something to do, I have a suggestion for you. I’ve shared Boxwoods Gardens with you before, but looking back it’s been 10 years since I did a post about them, so when I went back recently with a friend, I took pictures to share. Boxwoods Gardens has been a Buckhead staple for 20 years now and they have a beautiful shop to browse, with garden items and home decor furniture and accessories. Spring is the perfect time to visit!

Come on in and we’ll look around. They always have a beautiful selection of home decor and accessories.

Plenty of blue and white.

Also, they have clothing and accessories, so many pretty things.

Furniture and accessories.

They always have a beautiful selection of things for the home.

The back room is filled with pillows, lighting and lots more.

Great place for gifts too. Those little wooden bunnies are cute!

Pottery, side tables and more.

Of course, this table caught my eye with all the blue and green.

Beautiful pillows.

Lamps and side tables.

Loved this curved buffet.

Lots of spring decor.

Pretty table settings. You know I love the bunnies!

They have a huge selection of faux tulips. These are such pretty colors!

More faux flowers.

And tulips

They also do a lot of fresh floral arrangements too and they are gorgeous.

Orchids galore!

So many beautiful ones.

And fresh arrangements.

Hydrangeas are so pretty!

Outside are all sorts of garden ornaments and accessories.

It’s a treasure trove of home and garden pieces.

How unique is this?!

The real floral arrangements are really outstanding.

Pillows and a pretty garden bench.

Next stop, my friend, Maureen and I went down the street to the Swan Coach house for lunch. Growing up in Atlanta, I have never been to Swan Coach House, but had heard so much about this Southern icon. It didn’t disappoint!

Countless bridal and baby showers have been held at Swan Coach House.

It’s truly a memorable Southern establishment in Atlanta and I’m so glad I had lunch here finally.

Me and my long time friend, Maureen. We bonded over decorating and gardening and have been friends for 25 years. She’s a native New Yorker, but has been in Atlanta for many years.

Looking over the menu at Swan Coach House.

I decided on Swan’s Favorite, which is chicken salad in these delicious little cups, along with a garden salad, cheese straws, and that frozen fruit salad I’ve heard so much about. It was all delish, especially that frozen fruit salad. It was a fun day out and I would highly recommend this for a fun day out in Atlanta.

What a beautiful shop to browse in! I wish we had that where I live. Although I’d definitely be there too often! Beautiful!

Rhoda, I do not have a reason to visit Atlanta, but I may need to find one so I can visit the shop! Beautiful decor items and the orchids. Oh my. It would be easy to spend hours there feasting with your eyes for ideas and inspiration. I think I have seen the frozen fruit salad copy cat recipe online and may try it. Thank you for sharing, Sherry B

HI, Sherry, you would really enjoy both Boxwoods and Swan Coach house. I may try the frozen fruit salad too, I saw it somewhere online.
