Christmas is exploding around blogland about now and there are so many home tours and Christmas ideas that it can make your head spin.  I’m joining my friend, Chris, today in her annual blog hop and we are all sharing one room in our house all decorated for Christmas and for this tour, I’m sharing my dining room.  Welcome if you haven’t been by before, so glad you stopped by!

If you’re stopping by from Bliss at Home, I know you loved Kristin’s decor. She is elegance to the max and does a beautiful job.

Christmas Room 1

My dining room doesn’t look a whole lot different this year. I’m just not one to completely change out all my decor from year to  year, but I enjoy the things I have and treasure them.  I love to add sparkle and shine in my mostly neutral dining room and it adds so much this time of year with the silver tones I have in there.

My sideboard gets decked out every year with all the silver pieces I have.  From silver trays, to candelabras, to lots of mercury glass, it’s a silver extravaganza.

christmas055

I love my Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas sign from Between You and Me.  Always a sweet sentiment and it’s perfect in my dining room.

christmas054

I keep up my burlap wreath that my friend, Laura, made for me and add a little Christmas cheer to it in the form of a rustic cross.

Silver works so well in here and glows at night.

christmas057

I move things around a bit, but use many of the same things year after year.

I added a pile of glass ornaments to this beautiful white pierced pedestal dish, sat it on a plate and added fresh greens and a string of faux pearls.  It make a nice centerpiece.

The tablecloth is a new find from Ballard Designs this year, at the outlet in Roswell and it’s the perfect fabric for my dining room.

Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas!

Be sure and stop by Courtney, with A Thoughtful Place, who is the next stop on the tour. You are sure to be inspired with her beautiful Christmas room too.

Beautiful. I’ve been reading your blog for years, and love your style. I think your dining room is one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. So calming and serene, and those drapes tie your colors together perfectly. I could linger over an after dinner drink there quite happily just taking in all the eye candy! : )

Donna, that light in the Dining room is from Ballard Designs. It’s one of their large lanterns, can’t remember the name, but it’s the large size. I think it comes in 2 sizes.
