Hey there friends! It’s October again and you know what that means if you live in Atlanta, right? It’s Country Living fair month! I’m going this year for sure on Friday. Last year it rained, more like monsooned the day I was going so we decided to forego schlepping through the mud, but this year, I’m hoping for good weather. A coolish sunny day would be perfect. I’ve shared the Country Living fair pics with you before and may share after the fair this year, but it’s always a fun shopping event. This year Ben and Erin from Home Town on HGTV will be there on Saturday, but I’ll miss them at the fair. i will however get to meet them the following weekend in Austin, TX, since they will be the keynote speakers at the AdThrive conference I’m going to next week.
My friend, Liz Marie will be at the Country Living fair on Friday on the main stage, so I hope I get to hug her neck. We’ve been friends for many years and I’m so happy for her success.
One more thing I didn’t tell you all. I mentioned this on Instagram, but if you’re not on there you didn’t see this. I’m hosting a thrifting day Saturday, October 26th. If you’re going to the fair that day, you won’t be able to make it, but I’ve also asked another thrifter friend here in Atlanta (Made by Mollie’s Mom) on Instagram, Marcie is joining us too. She’s a big thrifiter and finds a lot of good things. We are going to meet up in Marietta on Canton Hwy. around 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 26th, so let me know if you’re interested in joining us. I have no idea right now how many will be there, but here’s your official invitation. We will hit a thriftstore and some antiques stores in the area, grab lunch, and probably go to another antiques store before we end by around 4 pm. You can join us for part or all of the day, it’s up to you!
There are a lot of good vendors with so much vintage goodies, so if you enjoy shopping vintage you’ll love it.
The epic pile of pumpkins is enough to make anyone get in the Fall spirit.
It’s a great girl’s day out and I’m going with my friend, Jill. Can’t wait!
All that talk about the Country Living fair reminds me of 5 years ago in 2014, when I was invited to speak on the main stage. Talk about pressure! It was very fun and I enjoyed meeting several of my blog readers. I talked about decorating and how I use vintage things in my home.
All you have to do to win is leave a comment here on this post. If you know you can’t go, please don’t try to win. The fair is October 25-27, 2019 at Stone Mountain. I’m giving away a pair of tickets to ONE of you to attend the fair and it’s good all weekend long!
That’s it! Please use the Rafflecopter widget to enter your email and then leave your comment here on this post. Just tell me what you like the most about the Country Living fair! I’ll choose a winner on Monday and tickets are electronic so I’ll be emailing them to the winner.
Please, please check your email when you enter the giveaway. I can’t tell you how many winners do not get back to me within 48 hours to claim their prize and I have to move on to another winner.

It’s been so long since I’ve been free to go to the CLF! I love strolling through all the antiques and crafts, but I have to say my favorite thing about the fair is my kiddos are grown now so there Are no extra-cuurriculars to keep me from going & no one to say “really mom?” ! Ha! 😂

My favorite part of the fair is that my family flies in from the Midwest to attend. It’s wonderful to walk through the booths with them and discover all kinds of new and vintage items.

CLF Atlanta is Awesome! Beautiful atmosphere walking around Stone Mountain Park. Favorite things are spending the weekend with family, getting new ideas for my home up north and eating southern food. I never leave empty handed.
