{Giveaway is Closed}

The winner is:  #94, Lisa Appell!  Congrats, Lisa!

Some things come in small packages and that is the case with a brand new book!

Country Living Little Book of Big Decorating Ideas

I love getting the chance to review these décor books up close and personal and this one is so tiny and cute.  A little square book packed with decorating ideas!  What fun.

The tag line is 287 clever tips, tricks and solutions and they are right.  Each page is numbered with a great idea for decorating, from quirky, to found objects and recyling, there’s an idea for every design enthusiast.

Country Living Big decorating ideas

It’s tiny and square, about 6” square.  From the editors of Country Living, one of our fave magazines, you’ll find tips on hundreds of ideas to tap into your home’s full potential.

Country Living book 2

Pages 68 and 69:  Bathroom ideas and fireplace plans.

Country Living 3

Pages 99 and 100: Birdcages and quirky clothes pins.

Country Living 4

Pages 117 and 118:  Painted stairs and upholstery ideas.

Country Living 5

Pages 216 and 217:  Color ideas for the living room and bedroom.

Country Living 6

Pages 240 and 241:  Framed art and gallery walls.

Country Living 7

And the outdoor areas even got in the book, Pages 230 and 231:  Outdoor planting and fence ideas.

It really is packed with some great pics and you’ll enjoy thumbing through this one. I love adding great décor books to my growing collection for those times that I just want to unplug and sit on the porch with a pretty book in hand.  I don’t always want to be in front of my computer, do you? Winking smile

ONE very lucky reader is also going to get a chance to add Country Living’s Little Book of BIG Decorating Ideas to your collection too!  All you have to do is leave a comment telling me why you love décor books and how much you’ll enjoy this one.

I’ll pick a random winner in a few days!  That’s it!

I love good decorating books because they inspire AND look beautiful stacked….they become part of the landscape of a room. How cool is that. ..not to mention they inspire when you need a little help!

This little book looks amazing! I love decor books. They look beautiful on my shelves and I love to pull them down and get fresh new ideas! Country Living is one of my favorites and I know their book has to be amazing too.

How exciting! A new book by Country Living. I have been a loyal magazine subscriber for over 20 years. We moved into a new house two years ago that is modern with an open concept floor plan after living in an arts and crafts style home built in 1925. Two completely different styles. I am always looking for new ways to decorate. I would LOVE this book!!!

Just when you think you have seen most decor ideas out there…along comes a book, or a site, or a pin…..and you realize you have never thought of “trying” this or that, etc. I would love this little book. I’m sure there are ideas in there that will thrill and surprise me.

Hope you are having a great summer, Rhoda!

My perfect morning is finding a sunny spot in my home, coffee in hand and flippin thru one of my favorite decor books. I still have some of MOMS old CL issues filed away for reference!

I love Country Living. The ideas are always so fresh, simple and livable – like you can plop down in any room in the pages. I love revisiting my favorite photos over and over.

One of my favorite things to do is to sit with a good decorating book (or several) and leaf through imagining my next project while enjoying a glass of wine. I will definitely add this to my collection. Thank you for sharing!

As much as I love blogs, there’s nothing that takes the place of a good magazine or book. I hope to win this one. 🙂

Why wouldn’t I love decorating books. There is something so realxing about a rainy day, a latte and a good DIY/decorating book.
