Not only is a decor book fun to look through they are full of inspiration.
Call me old fashioned, but I still love to hold and book and flip through the pages, instead of always being on the computer. Don’t get me wrong, I love reading blogs and Pinterest, but there is just something about flipping through a book. Plus, its Country Living, one of my favorite magazines, can’t go wrong with that! 🙂
Rhoda…what a great book and giveaway….why do I love home decor books?…I gain so much inspiration from them…always love to see how others decorate their homes so beautifully and create the most beautiful rooms and gardens…I have been buying Country Living magazine since the 80’s…love it!…I have seen such a transformation of that magazine since then…a wonderful transformation…

Way way back, as a very new, young mother I found my first issue of Country Living magazine and suddenly realized that my decorating style had a name. That was in 1982!! It was quite and epiphany for me! That started me down a decor path and an began an insatiable appetite for more inspiration that has never left me. All these years later…make mine Farmhouse. Would love the chance to win this little book, thanks!
Love to look at all the ideas in books and then diy them even cheaper!!!
Oh I would love this book
I get lots of ideas from their magazine and this would be icing on the cake.
Decorating books are wonderful to have. Like a great movie, you see new things every time you open them.
I would love to add this book to my collection. I’m always looking for ideas.
Thoroughly enjoy Country Living magazine. This book looks just as inspirational! (fingers crossed)
Hi Rhoda 🙂 I absolutely love opening a book like this because it gives me hope and inspiration! It reminds me that even if things aren’t perfect, one can still aspire to create a beautiful environment. My sis and Mom are the creative decorators so I sometimes struggle to find the essence of what it means to surround myself with beauty. Your website/blog and books like this have helped me dream about what to do with my little 862 sq ft. cottage living space. Thank you 🙂
I love to sit with decor books and search for new ideas or just daydream over the beautiful pictures.
I do love Home Decor books! Thankfully I live right around the corner from a fabulous Goodwill and I always find the best books there. I got the Pottery Barn decor books (boxed set!), Rachel Ashwell’s Shabby Chic, Martha Stewart’s Homekeeping Handbook, and a slew of others!
My husband’s instructions to the ladies at the local library: “Do not let Vicky check out anymore decorating books or magazines. She gets too many ‘bad’ ideas.” Love, Love, Love the possibility of actually adding this lovely, informative, creative book to my permanent collection.
Love your blog, look every day to see what new adventures you’ve had decorating , thrifting. I was born in Birmingham, but have lived in Indiana for almost 44 years, but I’m proud of my Southern heritage.
I love to get decorating ideas from blogs and books! I am not very creative, but I love to get ideas from others.
I love the inspiration you find in decor books. I love to flip through them over and over.
I too love to HOLD a book in my hand and get away from the computer occasionally. Just the few pages you showed, got me excited! Looks like it will keep the creative juices flowing for a long time! Thanks!

Without decor books (& bloggers) I’d have no clue how to decorate my home.
This would be so nice to have. I can see many hours spent on the patio just looking at it over and over again. I would love it.
