Crane and Canopy Bedding: Crisp and Classic

Our bedrooms are places of rest and relaxation and whenever I’m in a fancy hotel room with their luxurious duvets and soft sheets and squishy pillows, I imagine having that feel in my own room.

I love a plush bed with beautiful bedding, don’t you?  I’ve used matelassé on my beds for many years and have loved the softness of them and actually traded my sister a cream set that she has because she liked my color better.  So, when I got the chance to try out some pretty bedding from Crane and Canopy, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to update my bedding that I’ve been using for the last few years.  Using a neutral coverlet on the bed is something I’ve come to enjoy, because that means I can change out pillows and blankets and change the whole look without starting over again.

Enter this beautiful bedding from Crane and Canopy, a pleated beauty called the Cortland off-white bedding set.  Beautifully tailored with folds and pleats, it’s a feminine look.   I’m joining several other Southern bloggers this week who are trying out Crane and Canopy in our bedrooms.

I still enjoy my bedroom so much and love that I’ll be able to keep this bedding set for many years and change out those pillows and that blanket to any other color that strikes my fancy.  Who knows when I’ll want to change directions in here?

Those soft folds and pleats are so pretty and casual, giving my bed a really nice crisp look.

The King shams have a crisp edging detail to them and work well with the existing pillows I already have.

Their duvets have easy corner ties that tie in the comforter and keep it in place so it doesn’t wiggle around.

And you can see the pretty border all around the edge of the duvet, which is stuffed with a Crane and Canopy king comforter, so nice and full.  My little cozy bedroom is my peaceful haven away from the world and I spend lots of time in here.  I even blog from that bed many days, that’s how much I love my room.

Crane and Canopy offers many varieties of comforter and duvet sets and they are very reasonably priced.  I’m joining some other Southern bloggers this week, sharing our new bedding from Crane and Canopy.  If you are in the market for some nice bedding, take a look at what they have to offer, I think you’ll like it.  Crane and Canopy design original products and connect customers with the world’s most premium factories, saving customers up to 70% off bedding.  All of Crane & Canopy’s bedding use soft and breathable, extra-long staple cotton, hand-picked by the team for comfort and quality. A portion of all proceeds go towards Crane & Canopy’s cause initiative, “A Safe Night’s Sleep,” which benefits women and children affected by domestic violence. All their duvets are machine washable.

After we move to Florida, I don’t think we’ll need a comforter. Are you using a mattelasse coverlet? I think that would suit us better than a duvet. I did not see coverlets on the C/C website, but their sheets are lovely.

Hi, Cathy, I have used a mattelassee for years, but replaced the old one with this pretty duvet. I still like mattelassee’s too and you are right, might be more suited for Florida weather. I don’t think Crane and Canopy has mattelassee.

Rhoda, You have such a great eye for colors. I love the fresh greens and blues together. Your room (and bedding) are so pretty. I will have to check out Crane and Canopy. Enjoy! Kathy

I love the Signature Noe Blue! The prices are really good and I like that they installed zippers as opposed to buttons!

HI, Amber, the blue and green striped rug are Dash and Albert, called Fisher style. The blue shams were custom made by my mom.

Rhoda, thank you so much for replying, very much appreciated. I’m so sorry…what about the green coverlet along the foot of the bed? I love this style, it’s so simple and clean and what I’m going for…

i purchased over $800 worth of bedding from Crane & Canopy recently. among the items i ordered was standard pillow cases, which shows qyt of 2 $40 for standard size I told the rep that i really wanted 3 cases for my king size bed, as I had ordered 3 shams (which are sold separately) so the rep said i would need to order another full set of pillow cases as thats how they came and I would just have an extra. i said i understood and that was fine, so I was charged $80.00 total for what I understood to be 2 sets. upon arrival I received one set so I called to let C&C know that a set was missing. they were very difficult to get in touch with, but finally responded telling me that the pillow cases are $40.00 for ONE standard case. i told her thats not what the rep I spoke with stated and that their page shows a quantity of 2 for $40.00 (see their page). So needless to say I cannot give C&C a good rating and am very dissatisfied with the outcome.

I had also put in a request to be notified when another set of sheets I wanted would be available, but obviously I will not be placing that order. Was lookimg forward to my C&C order but now very disappointed with this company.
