{Giveaway Ended}  The Winner is #114, Esther.

Once again, I’m back with another blogger friend book.  My friend, Wendy Hyde, of The Shabby Nest, has written a fun and inspiring decorating book, Decorating for Real Life.  It shows real life homes and gives ideas on how to make your home better with a few changes.

With practical real-life ideas for decorating, you are sure to be inspired in your own home. From space planning, color planning, to decor style, she covers the bases for a beautiful home.

Decorating for real life

Each real life home feature asks these questions:

What does this space say?

What makes this space family friendly?

What fears need to be overcome?

What compromise is required?

The room in my home that definitely needs work is my laundry room as this is the room that every one enters through to come into our home. Actually everyone enters in through the garage first and then into the laundry room!

We are moving our bedroom into the bigger bedroom (den) on our first floor and then making the smaller bedroom into a den and I have NO idea where to start.

I need to do an entire-house spruce up during 2015 to hopefully ready things to put it on the market. I’d start with my living room 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity to win this fabulous book!

I would have to say my master bedroom needs it the most. It seems thats the last thing I always do, everything else seems so much more important. I need to change that!
