{Giveaway Ended} Â The Winner is #114, Esther. Â
Once again, I’m back with another blogger friend book. My friend, Wendy Hyde, of The Shabby Nest, has written a fun and inspiring decorating book, Decorating for Real Life. It shows real life homes and gives ideas on how to make your home better with a few changes.
With practical real-life ideas for decorating, you are sure to be inspired in your own home. From space planning, color planning, to decor style, she covers the bases for a beautiful home.
Each real life home feature asks these questions:
What does this space say?
What makes this space family friendly?
What fears need to be overcome?
What compromise is required?
Then a method to Borrow these Ideas and bring them to your own home.
Great news for ONE of my readers!

I have a bit of work to do in each room but I think I would like to concentrate on my kitchen. It’s a bit dated and the flow just doesn’t work all that well. I would love to have some inspiration from this book. Thank you for the giveaway opportunity.
Master bedroom is so tired….Needs red.
My office/guestroom/ everything else room!
Loving your blog and my house needs this book so I can make it a home 🙂
Oh, what a wonderful and practical book. I would love to win it. My living room probably needs the most help. We moved into a patio home in August. I tried to place our furniture similar to the way the house had been staged. Of course, our bedroom could use some help, too. Thanks for the chance.
The master suite in our home needs to be freshened up-I long for a more calming, peaceful vibe!
Our master bedroom/bath…yikes!
My living room needs some decorating love!
My dining room could use some real life decorating. I can see it from every first floor room in the house. It must co-ordinate and be useful. Jo @ Let’s Face the Music
