DIY Bloggers Picture Matchup

I’m still having major problems with my feeds going out, so anyone subscribed to my blog by email or Google reader are not getting updates in over a week.  I am working on it with a tech guy and hope to be back to normal soon. These technical issues drive me crazy, because I don’t know how to fix them and have to rely on help from someone who knows these things.

We had so much fun with this contest!  I was chuckling as several of you tried to guess which one I was.  The black and white probably should have given it away, although that particular year of 7th grade was the only black and white pic I ever had in school (ALL the rest were color), so that alone shouldn’t have made me look that much older than the group.

But, maybe the cat eye glasses gave it away.  They were blue, by the way.  You  know….to match my eyes.  🙂   I started out very blonde as a child and my hair then turned more auburn/dark strawberry blonde, until college when I discovered highlights and that changed my world.  I’ve been blonde ever since.  7th grade

10th Grade – Bless my heart

I always thought this 7th grade year was the homeliest year of my life and I still stick to that story.  I guess it’s confidence with age that let’s me put it out there now and laugh about it.  Thank goodness for maturity, makeup and contacts!

Oh my goodness, we hope you had a great time traveling back in time yesterday and laughing at our childhood portraits! Did you guess who I was? There were so many of you who were soooooo close to guessing all the DIY bloggers correctly, but finally one person…one blogger…one true DIY fan rose to claim victory!

Please meet the winner of the Before They Were Bloggers Contest:

Sara from Mom Endeavors

This girl knows her DIY blogs because she’s a blogger herself. Please take a minute to congratulate Sara by leaving her a comment on her blog today. She spent a lot of time holding a sick little baby yesterday and clicking back and forth to the different blogs to match all 29 faces with their blogs (she’s quite the multi-tasker isn’t she.)

And now… the moment you’ve been waiting for… here are the match ups.

A. Pretty Handy Girl

B. Decor Chick

C. All Things Thrifty

D. Tatertots and Jello

E. The Lettered Cottage

Okay, I’ll admit it, I spent close to 3 hours trying to match up the faces and win this contest! It looks like I only got 20 out of 29 right, but I did guess you correctly Rhoda!!

Have fun at your open house today!

I knew you and just a few others…so I gave up after just a few minutes. I don’t read all of the blogs listed…so that was kinda hard for me. Congrats to the winner!!!

    Blessings,
    Linda

You may have been the only b&w picture w/ cat eye glasses but hands down – you had the best (and cutest) hair style of them all! I’m so glad you posted out the auto feeds/email problem, I was afraid the problem was on my end.
