My friends keep writing books!  Once again, there’s another blogger book launch and I’m sharing that with you today.

My friend, Laura, with Finding Home Farms, has written a pretty book called DIY Rustic Modern Metal Crafts. She’s an expert on this subject and her home gushes with warmth and personality from her handmade ideas.  Laura is a sweet blog friend and I’ve so enjoyed getting to know her over the last few years.

Rustic Modern Metal Crafts offers 35 creative upcycling ideas for galvanized metal, Laura’s favorite thing to use for her crafting projects.  She does a beautiful job with the farmhouse rustic look in her own home.

Like this side table made from a galvanized tub.  Her home is a wonderful mix of traditional, rustic, and charmingly modern.

Laura guides you through all 35 crafts with step by step tutorials on how to get the look for yourself, at home, with list of all materials to purchase for each project.

From rustic metal wall art, to lighting, storage options, planters, accents for entertaining, and decorative accents, Laura covers every room in the house with her innovative book.

I’m delighted to give away a copy of Laura’s book to ONE of my readers.  If you’d like the chance to win, please leave a comment on this post and tell me which category of projects most grabs your attention to try, from the above list.  That’s it!  I’ll choose a winner in one week and you’ll get your very own copy.  In the meantime, here’s a link to Amazon if you’d like to purchase the book for yourself or for gifts this holiday season.

I actually have several metallic planters filled with herbs and flowers (well, they were a month ago). But I’d love more tips on storage, because who doesn’t need more storage?

What a neat how-to book! I would love to learn how to put together a galvanized metal planter. It would be great to use succulents in one, too. The contrast of colors and textures would be amazing. Thanks, Rhoda and Laura 🙂

I have a collection of several galvanized buckets and would love to see what ideas you have for a unique use for them. We have an old dairy farm & home and still working on decorating the yard around the house.
