Dutchman’s in St. Simons

If you are having problems getting on my blog the last few days, I am having this looked into, trying to figure out what the problem is, so please hang in there and hopefully things will be back to normal soon.  I know my feeds haven’t gone out in a few days too and I hope that I got that part resolved at least.  Working behind the scenes!

Just about a year ago, I visited St. Simons Island, GA and never got the chance to share more of the shopping spots we hit while there, so I couldn’t let this beautiful shop, Dutchman’s go unnoticed.  Someone had tweeted about Dutchman’s while I was down there, so I made sure to look it up and sure enough, it was a gem. Beautiful shop full of great inspiration.

Just the kind of shop that girls like to browse.  Enjoy!

Did you like that one?  I knew you would.  Thanks for stopping by and for going window shopping with me again and if you get down to St. Simons one day, look up Dutchman’s, you’ll love it!

I’m ready for Spring already, how about you?

Thanks so much for the post. I spend the winter in St. Marys, GA and think I might just run up to Dutchman’s today and see how much trouble I can get into.

Rhoda, that looks like a fun/dangerous store! I saw too many things just in the pictures that I could buy.

Only visited the island once, but I remember it was so much fun. We rented bikes for two days and rode all over looking at the beautiful houses. I am so ready for spring, the temp today here in Michigan is 8 degrees. I think we have a long ways to go until wonderful weather..

Your pictures are so spectacular and so prolific. You seem to post them so effortlessly. Have you ever done a tutorial or would you do one on how you get them up and posted with such panache?

Thanks, Diane, I’m not sure what I could teach on that. I just snap pics and edit them and post. I have done a post on photography tips, so that might help you.

What a great store, so many pretty things! I live in Texas and it has been so dry, I’m ready for more rain. Our winters are mild, today is a beautiful sunny day at 67 degrees.

What a great place! I loved those little bird paintings on the reclaimed wood. And I’m more than ready for spring. I hate being cold, and it just started raining a while ago after some pretty decent weather the last couple of weeks.

What a beautiful store!! Would love to visit someday!!

Rhoda, I have not been getting your blog since right after Christmas. I don’t know why, but all the blogs I subscribe to by e-mail quit coming. Seems that most are from Feedburner. Let me know if you find out what is going on! I love following you…feel like I know you!! Thanks for what you do!

Thanks so much for letting us know what is going on with notifications, etc. I haven’t missed any posts because I was sure you were still blogging away, but wondered what was wrong. Know this is frustrating for you. Thanks for all you do!

Do you recall the name of your kitchen blinds? Are they Java Vinage by Payless Decor? I’d like to get some for my family room. Thanks!

you should see Dutchman’s in Highland’s, NC (just before the GA/NC line, turn right on Dillard Road, follow the sign’s to Highlands, they are on Main St). A very popular place to shop tucked away in the mountains! I love the 2 pcs I got from there.

    Hey Rhoda,
Thanks for posting such a fun place to visit. Love the pics and will certainly visit there if I get to go to St. Simons. I love your blog but when I try to view it, it’s always at The Lilly Pad posting. ( I did love that post, though!) I got to this one through Face Book. I’ll keep checking. Maybe it’s my computer. 🙂 ?
    Blessings,
    Cindy
