Eat at Zoe’s

Thank you ALL for stopping by and chiming in on the Balance post yesterday, it really was heart-warming for me to read all your comments. If you haven’t read the comments, you might want to do that. I think we as women all struggle with this issue and blogging has just been one more thing to add to our already busy lives, so I’m going to try to work on that balance thing a lot more this year.

Not too long after moving to Birmingham, I discovered Zoe’s Kitchen and it is a refreshing change from typical fast food.  They lean towards the healthy side of eating and even though it’s healthy, it really tastes good too, so when my hubby and I were recently invited, along with several other people, to try out some of their new and improved recipes, we were all over that.  We don’t often turn down free food samples.  🙂IMG_8425

Zoe’s has a Mediterranean  influence too and that’s also a good thing, with fresh ingredients being the key.  IMG_8426

The new items on the menu were plentiful and we sampled a little of it all, from steak and mushroom rollups to a healthy marinated bean salad, and white beans, along with fresh pita and hummus.  It was ALL delish!

We pronounced these tri-tip steak rollups as our fave and they came with a very tasty yogurt dipping sauce.IMG_8428

Marinated bean salad and the hummus was very good too.  Whatever they did to season it all was excellent. IMG_8430

And then to top it off, out came  these fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookies which were just heavenly!  Yuuuuuummmm, who doesn’t love chocolate chip cookies.  No one in my family turns them down, for sure.  These were the size of a dessert plate.

If you’re wondering if you have a Zoe’s in your town, click here to find out.  There are 5 in the Birmingham area, as well as several in other cities in Alabama.  And these states are included:

AZ

FL

LA

NC

SC

TN

TX and coming soon to VA

Have you been to Zoe’s yet?  If not, I’d highly recommend them.  Great, fresh food and really reasonable prices.  I am going to make a point to go back soon.

(We were compensated with free food samples, but my opinions are totally mine!  And I’m blogging about this on my own, it was not requested.)

Don’t forget! Next week is the A Woman Inspired online conference.  It’s going on all next week.  My session will be on Tuesday, the 26th from 10-11 Central time.  I’m a little nervous, but looking forward to it too.  I’d love to have you all be there with me.  🙂  Those of you who won tickets in the giveaway should be getting emails on logging into the conference, so let me know if you don’t.

I did not know about Zoe’s opening in Greensboro, N.C.
It sounds like my kind of food and I will certainly go there.
According to their map, Zoe’s is near fabulous shopping.
This will be next on my agenda. Thanks for sharing.
