So, did you notice my cool new blog design? I was lucky enough to win a giveaway over at The Shabbee Chick’s blog, I now have my very own blog makeover. Amber did a great job and was very patient with all my little changes and I just love the new look! Head on over for your own blog makeover, if you’re looking for a sassy new style.
We’ve got some beautiful fall color going on right now that I had to share with you. These 3 pics are all in my neighborhood showing our beautiful and colorful hills.
It doesn’t totally capture the majesty, but you get the idea. I know many of you have probably already lost your leaves, but we are still in full fall color mode around here and our hills look like a painted canvas.
Good morning Rhoda 🙂
I love the new look! It’s perfect!!
Those gardens are something else and I’m amazed at how beautiful it still is there. The leaves are gone for the most part in Ohio, so it’s wonderful to know that there’s still a beautiful show of color out there.
Thank you so much for the sweet birthday wishes 🙂

Beautiful photos!! Thanks for sharing!
Oh, your pics are so beautiful! I remember going to the Botanical Gardens when I was a teenager. It is a beuatiful place! I’m sure it has changed since then.
My roses are still blooming too. We always have roses in November.
Have a great day!
I just love the gardens this time of year! All the changing colors are so bright and beautiful! Also, love the new blogger look!
I love the new blog design! The black and white border is the perfect homage to your new guest suite. 🙂
The gardens and foliage pictures are lovely. I’m headed upstate NY this weekend, and even though it’s past peak season there, I’m hoping to catch the tail end of the foliage. We’ve been all about the shore house this year, so haven’t made it anywhere else! It will be a nice change of scenery. Hopefully I’ll have pictures to share next week.
what a great win on the blog! I love giveaways and your pretty fall pictures.
Gorgeous fall pics, Rhoda. Such beautiful color. The new blog design is pretty, too. 🙂
Beautiful pictures! The autumnal hills are gorgeous! Who says the south doesn’t get any decent fall colour?
The gardens are lovely! I love the lantern hanging on a stone post. And your shot of the arbor did it proud. 8-]
You did an amazing job on your guest room makeover. I kept looking at the comforter to see if you scanned it for your new background.
OK, I tried to keep my mouth shut, but it’s driving me nuts. In the sidebar… recent comments… does the graphic say ‘inspiring friends said’? And is it just me or is there an I missing? (Or is it just crowded up against the P?) My eyes aren’t as good as they used to be and these graphics are a tiny bit difficult for me to make out w/out my reading specs. If I’m mistaken, please forgive an old nit-picker. 8-}
Oops, PS… thanks ever so for checking out my ‘new’ hutch. I lined up some mirror tiles on the bottom shelf and like the way they look, so I’m going to have mirrors cut to fit. Then I can easily remove them to reveal the toile again. 8-]
I love your new blog look. These photos are wonderful. Now, I must know, any idea the name of those long skinny gourds mixed among the others? I have never seen ones like this and would love to try a few here if I knew what they were.
Hey Rhoda; I really like your new blog redo congrats on winning it. Love all the photos of the garden, such beautiful flowers and plants the that arbor oh my … thanks for sharing.
Hugs;

Hey Rhoda! I’ve been reading your blog for awhile now and love it–just started my own, also. I live in B’ham, too, and the gardens are lovely. Great place to take family pics, too!
Those are all so beautiful, but I LOVE the dragonfly picture! Great job.
Wow, I can almost smell and feel those roses! What great pics, I really enjoyed the tour…I am also going to check out that new blog site you posted about, thanks!!!
