Weddings are such beautiful and special events. There’s just something so sweet about a wedding, so I wanted to share a wonderful family event that happened in December. December 14th, 2019 was the wedding of Mark’s youngest daughter, McKenzie, who married her long time beau, Patrick. They’ve been together since they were 15, truly childhood sweethearts. They are a beautiful couple and we are so happy to celebrate their wedding and the beginning of their married life together. We wish them every bit of happiness in their future as a couple.

I’m so happy to share the wedding pics! I took a few myself, but really didn’t get a chance to get a lot of good ones at the wedding, so McKenzie let me share her wedding pics when she got them back and I’m so glad she did. They turned out great, so I hope you enjoy this beautiful family wedding. Weddings are such a special event and this one was exceptionally beautiful. Christmas is a beautiful time to get married.

The venue a beautiful winery in N. Georgia, Monteluce Winery in Dahlonega. We all stayed in Dahlonega for the weekend and it was so pretty.

Montluce has a definite Italian vibe and is the perfect spot for a wedding. Patrick and McKenzie had their pics made before the ceremony and got some great shots at the winery. Their photographer did a wonderful job.

McKenzie looked so pretty that day, a perfect bride!

Her dress was exquisite and the whole wedding was just stunning.

The bridal party before the wedding. Mark’s 4 daughters are in front, (left to right) Kelly, Traci, McKenzie, and Lyndsey.

The wedding ceremony was held below in the winery in the wine making room. It was really stunning and set up so well.

There was candlelight everywhere which created a memorable atmosphere.

I snapped a few pics before the ceremony of the little ones getting ready. Rose looked so cute in her flower girl dress. All 4 grandchildren walked down the aisle.

Cutie pie Henry was adorable, his mama looking on.

Jaxton and JJ are the oldest grandchildren at 5 and 7 and they looked so handsome.

Before the ceremony, the wedding aisle was adorned with rose petals, so pretty.

Mark’s mom and dad, Burton and Joan looking so dapper.

Here comes the bride! Mark was a very proud daddy.

Giving her away at the altar.

And just like that, they’re married! Wedding ceremonies are so special and sweet.

Mr. and Mrs. They look so happy!

After ceremony pictures.

With the grandparents.

And the whole wedding party. The girls all looked so good in those deep wine dresses, perfect for a December wedding.

The sisters.

Patrick’s dad’s has faced a lot of health issues over the last few years and sadly, lost the battle in late January, but I know they were so glad he got to come to the wedding. This was a sad loss for their family.

The whole winery was decorated for Christmas making it extra special.

Peeking into the reception room before we all went inside. The tables were decorated with plates, silverware and chargers by The Prissy Plate Company, It was a gorgeous table setting.

Getting the reception started!

Bride and Groom table.

I snapped this one during the reception.

The tables were so stunning and just perfectly done.

Instead of one big wedding cake, McKenzie ordered several kinds of cakes from Publix and had them all displayed beautifully.

Dinner was so delicious! Monteluce did a fantastic job on all the food.

Mark with his mom and dad. They’re 89 and 92, good genes in his family too.

Mark giving a toast to the bride and groom.

Cutting the cake.

Daddy/daughter first dance.

Patrick and his mom dancing. The reception was so much fun, we were all out dancing on the dance floor and had a great time. It was such a beautiful evening and we are so happy for this sweet couple!

Mark and I had fun on the dance floor too.

They were shown out with sparklers in the night and away they go!

With a dance down the brigade and a last kiss, the bride and groom start their new lives together and we couldn’t be happier for them!

Congratulations to Patrick and McKenzie! We love you and wish you the very best future together!

All very stunning!! You don’t have to answer, but is Mark a widower? I hate the thought of a girl not having her mom on her wedding day but I wasn’t sure.

What a lovely wedding. The bride is beautiful and I can see the resemblance to her daddy. And Childhood sweethearts….best wishes to them. I remember when you were shopping for your dress and it was perfection. You and Mark look great!

I don’t usually post messages, but I had to in this case. This wedding looks like it should be a Hallmark movie. It must have taken a tremendous amount of work. It is one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen. Congratulations to everyone, just lovely.
