Fashion over 50: Casual Boots and Sweaters

Hope you’re all having a great week!  It’s been a weekend of travel for me and I’ll be back soon to share all of that, since I’ve been to Panama City Beach and Memphis all in the last few days, but today is Fashion over 50.  It finally got a little bit Fallish in Atlanta the last couple of weeks, so getting out the sweaters and boots again was in order.

These are all things I’ve shared before, but maybe you’ll get some ideas on how to mix up your wardrobe for different looks with what’s in your closest.

This leopard faux fur vest is a hand me down from my sister and I really enjoy it this time of year.  I’m definitely a bit of leopard or animal print fan for so many things, from vests to shoes to scarves.  Mixing in a little animal print is just fun!

I have a collection of longer ivory/cream sweaters that always work with so many things and I love the ones that cover the rear end such as this one.  It’s longer and it’s OK that the vest is shorter in my opinion. I like these layered looks. This sweater is by Calvin Klein and dips down in the back.

The black pants are Calvin Klein too and I’ve had them for a few seasons.  They are skinny cut and work well tucked into boots.  Again, these are Calvin Klein boots too that I’ve shared with you before.

That’s a fun and casual look with sweaters and boots that I love to wear this time of year.

I just love this cute leopard vest (affiliate link) I spotted at Nordstrom Rack and it’s a great deal!  It’s long also and would be great layered over jeans, sweaters, and leggings. I kept thinking about this one, so I ordered it!

I’ve added a few more similar things to the links below that you might like.  My black Ralph Lauren boots are hard workers during Winter as are my cream colored sweaters.  I have several of them and they work with so many things and I can change them up with scarves and jackets. The links below are affiliate links for your convenience!

I love these looks. I live in England now and we have been wearing sweaters for a while. I am in Edinburgh, Scotland for my Uncle’s funeral. I have boots’ scarf, coat and leather gloves on this afternoon!

Lorraine, I had the privilege of going to Edinburgh 11 yrs ago and it was just beautiful. Everybody there was so nice. I was there for only one day, a day trip from our trip to London. we went to Paris one day and the Edinburgh one day. I would love to go back again someday.

These are such great staple items for a fall/winter wardrobe. I love layering during these seasons.

I think I need a few more sweaters, all I have are cardigans.
