Fashion over 50: Fall Top from Glamour Farms

Happy Wednesday!  I’m back today with a pretty fall top from Glamour Farms (affiliate link) that I can’t wait to share with you.  This Falling Into Place (affiliate link) top is soft and cozy and also has the prettiest colors that I love the most.  Turquoise, golds, and browns are very Fallish and this top will be fun to wear during these months when it’s not quite cold yet and when it does get cold, I can layer it with a jacket.

I bought these dark brown cropped pants at C Wonder at the sale a couple of years ago now and they go very well with this top.  I added some brown booties to the outfit and jewelry to finish it off.

I know that everyone isn’t comfortable wearing booties with no socks, but I don’t mind the look and I wear socklets with these booties to make them more comfortable. I’m about to look for some boot socks that are hidden to wear with my booties too.

The top is so cute and has a tie-dye effect with all those pretty Fall colors.  And look, I match my front door!

The back has a cute cutout so needed something under it.  Under the top is the Ahh-Mazing Short Shaper in Chocolate brown from Glamour Farms, since this top has a little cutout in the back. These shapers are really comfortable and if you need a little extra support, this will do it.

On adding jewelry, I stacked some bead bracelets that I already had.

And this pretty Laudes Tassel Necklace is also from Glamour Farms and the perfect accent for this top.  I wear these colors a lot and it will be fun to add to my jewelry collection.

To order from Glamour Farms for $10 off any regular priced item over $20, use code RHODA145, good through Nov. 13th!

It is finally starting to feel Fallish around here and I’m really happy about that.  This time of year makes me feel more energized!

These new booties I just picked up at TJ Maxx and guess what?  I found out TJ Maxx sells online now and I totally didn’t know that, so I can link these up for you!  I’m sure I will enjoy wearing these with skinny jeans and more and I’ll pair them with socks at times too.

I hope you enjoyed this edition of Fashion over 50, thank you all as always for taking the time to stop by!  I hope you are all enjoying your Fall too, it’s such a beautiful time of year!

Note:  Glamour Farms sends me clothing to style and feature and if you buy from them, I earn a small commission.

No offense, I wish you would go back to styling your own clothes purchases. I don’t care for Glamour Farms clothing–too cutesy and they all have the same “look” about them. Glamour Farms must be approaching many of the bloggers out there because I’m seeing their merchandise all over and it’s not very sophisticated, more juvenile.

HI, Rose, I get it, Glamour Farms is not for everyone. I do like most of the clothing I’ve gotten from them and enjoy styling and adding pieces to my wardrobe. It will get boring on Fashion over 50 if I don’t add some new pieces along the way!

I love this top. Like Rose I don’t always like the stuff from Glamour Farms, but I do like this one. I also like when you do your own styling –love seeing things you put together from sales and thrifting. I like you am glad to have Fall finally showing up here as I love sweaters so much!

You look great, Rhoda! Love the booties with no socks…..that is the way I wear all boots, ha! With my small foot I get a better grip to walk since I really need a 5 but push up to 5.5 to get what I want. I bought cute pair Sunday …us girls love our footwear as Johnny teases me with that name:) Love the back cut out on that top – the boots are my favorite!

It’s a very cute look. Whether people like the particular style that you are wearing or not, you have a knack for putting an outfit together. I really appreciate that and have gotten many ideas from you that I would have never even thought of. Today’s feature is great and I like it all! Would you ever wear booties with socks that show? Just curious if that is a look that is acceptable.

Thank you, Shar, I appreciate the positive comments! Yes, I have worn booties with socks that show, when I was wearing skinny jeans/pants. It does seem the younger gals mostly wear no socks, so that’s what I’m trying as well. But one cold days, yes I’ll wear some socks, especially when I’m dressed more casual.

HI, Melesa, I know it was a pleasant surprise for me too. I’ve heard they’ve been online for 4 years or so, but I’ve missed that somehow. Maybe I can link more things to them now.

This is a very pretty color combination on you & you just happen to match your front door! The back of this top was a surprise & I like how you did the layering. Love the picture of you sitting on the steps. Always enjoy your blog very much. Love how personal you are too. I feel like I know you & I bet your others readers do as well.

I’m almost 66, and I really like that top! I dress “younger” for my age all the time!

cute outfit, great colors, realize it’s the look now but a little too much skin showing above the booties for me, seems to break the look up, maybe sheer knee highs or socks…
