Fashion over 50: Gray Leopard Vest

Hello friends!  During this Thanksgiving week, I really want to savor the moments and enjoy them all.  We are having family Thanksgiving tomorrow as I’m sure you all are as well.  I’ll be splitting some time between my family and Mark’s so that both are covered.  We both felt it necessary to spend time with our own families as first priority, since we both still have our parents and we don’t know how long that will be the case.  Lauren and her family are home for Thanksgiving, so it will be a very fun week with them.

I shared a pretty gray vest a couple of Wednesdays ago and I got it in and wanted to share it again, this time in person!  I absolutely love it!  Many of you bought it off my link (thank you for that!) and so if you’re wondering how it is, it’s a great piece for the Winter wardrobe.  I’m super happy with it and it’s on a big sale.  I see that only Medium and Large are still available, but that covers a lot of folk.

I paired it with those Hue damask leggings that I’ve had for a few years and shared again recently. They are great leggings and I’ve really enjoyed them.

Several people asked about my new front door rug. It’s from Frontgate and very good quality.

My hubby was my photographer this day and caught some action shots, so I’m sharing those too.  He always does a good job taking pics for me.

Paired with a striped charcoal gray and white shirt from Lands End that I found at Goodwill last year, it’s a cute and casual outfit.  I’ve shared these Ralph Lauren boots before too, so will include links at the bottom to similar boots.

I really love this vest and it will be fun to wear this winter.  The faux fur collar is detatchable too, in case you don’t want that much fur around.  One thing about the hem. It’s raw hemmed, so just stitched at the bottom and the edges are frayed, so if that bothers you, you may want to hem it properly.  I’m OK with it and will get this piece dry cleaned.  I would pair it with a solid black or even cream sweater during colder weather.

It has zippered pockets which I love too and they are real pockets. There is also a hook and eye closure in the middle if you want it closed in the front.

An overall great addition to the wardrobe at $39.97, so if you’re in the market, grab one while they are still available!
