Fashion over 50: More Sweater Dresses

Hi, friends and Happy Valentines Day!  Hope you are celebrating with the ones you love.

I’ve got one more outfit to share with you today from thredUP,(affiliate link) that online consignment shop I’ve shared with you before.  They truly do have some remarkable buys and I really lucked out on my last shopping spree. I found several dresses/tunics that work well with my winter boots and this one is a cutie too.

When I’m browsing over there, I try to use the filters so it helps to find things easier. Once I put in my size, I then click on Premium brands and then click dresses, tops, pants, or whatever, to see everything in my size. You can narrow it down from there too, the filters work well to hone in on what you  might be looking for. Premium brands are my sweet spot, with brands like Chico’s, Loft, Ann Taylor, and classic brands like that who you know are good quality and you can figure out your sizing easily once you wear those brands.

This dress is a brand I haven’t tried before, but it’s called Maeve.  Apparently from a Google search, Anthropologie (affiliate link) carries this brand and they have some cute things.

It’s a sweater type fabric, fully lined and really comfy.  With bits of black and gray in the weave, I wore it with black boots, but could have gone with my gray ones too.

I loved the coral color and it adds some brightness to the Winter wardrobe when so many neutrals are expected this time of year.

Closer look at the fabric and the bell sleeves are fun.

I met up with a friend of mine that day for lunch and shopping and we were at Avalon, so it made for a fun backdrop for fashion.

So that’s one more sweater dress idea for you. I’m sure enjoying these outfits this time of year and it feels good to get a little dressed up when I go out for lunch or shopping.

I’ve shared this jewelry before, but I’ll share again. The bracelets are from different places, but I think the gray and pink ones are from the Mart, as well as the necklace. I’ve worn these pieces so much since I got them last year and these colors go so well with so many things I have.  Earrings were found in High Point last year.

That’s it for today, thanks as always for stopping by!

Happy Valentine’s Day and not exactly happy Ash Wednesday .. may your Lenten Time bear much fruit in your life.

Too much ruffles annoy me but this sleeve length is great, you get the bell without the fuss, and I love the color.

I like the length of this one much better than the shorter ones. This just looks better to me for us mature women!
