Fashion over 50: TJ Maxx Finds

I haven’t bought any of these, but I was in there a few weeks ago and picked up a couple of summer tops for Haven that I wore.  It’s one of my fave places to shop so I found some things online that might interest you all too.  I’ve always consistently found good things at TJ Maxx and they have lots to choose from online too.  They don’t have free shipping, but sometimes they do offer free shipping days.

Workshop sleeveless tank, unfortunately only Small and X Small still available.

Love the detail on this Belldini criss cross top.

I love stripes and black and white. Jones New York top, a winner.

Cupo Scoop neck tunic, comes in 3 colors and how cute for fall! Great price too.

Adiva off the shoulder top. I love the blue edging detail on this one and it’s only $10!

Kut from the Kloth corduroy pants, another good name brand I’ve tried.

Jones New York ponte pants. I have a pair similar and like the ponte feel and fit.

I’ve bought so many boots and shoes from TJ Maxx over the years and you can’t beat their prices.  These Hobbs suede booties from Italy are great for Fall.

From what I’ve seen, this is a great price on Frye riding boots, 2 colors.

These are a great color for Fall and I would be tempted to get them if I didn’t have so many shoes already.

Dr. Scholl’s Flats

I love flats like this and these Cole Haan’s are a great price and color.

Braided Hyacinth Basket

They also offer a lot of great home decor items and you can get things for much less here than other stores. Owned by the same company as Homegoods, you can count on them for good name brands at a discount.  I’d love for Homegoods to start selling online too, they have great stuff as well.

Hope you enjoyed these ideas and if you haven’t shopping online at TJ Maxx, there are some great deals out there.

I’m so confused. Those Jones New York ponte pants come in S M and L?? Not number sizes?? I guess I don’t really know what ponte pants are…can you enlighten me? Thanks!

HI, Kate, Ponte is a stretchy fabric, so see if there is a guide for what Small might cover. Usually it’s like 4 to 6. There might be a guide on the size chart. I have a pair I bought from Costco and they are stretchy but flattering.

Thanks for all the links! Cute tops! I have a black ponte pair from White House Black Market & love mine too. I never washed mine since they said to dry clean. That is the only thing I don’t like about them. This town is low on dry cleaners…..like 2. Good luck with your move today!

TJ Maxx and Home Goods are the death of me. Especially after coffee. The second I walk through the door I look around and think “I want that. AND that. AND…. that and that and that!” Quality and selection are amazing with lots of items I don’t see or cant afford elsewhere. After about an hour I usually settle myself down and put most of what’s in my cart (that I don’t need but love and want boo hoo) back. On more than one occasion I’ve had to text my husband SOS ! I am currently self-grounded from the store for one month with three weeks to go.

HI, Lori, that’s so funny and I totally get it. I usually have to just stay out of the stores to avoid that.

Hi Lori, Your comment made me laugh! I totally understand! If I don’t want to spend money, I have to stay out of the stores. Now my issue is online ordering. I have to stay off the store websites too! Oops, ust ordered something from T.J.Maxx. Now I’m really grounded!

Hi Rhoda! Great picks from T.J.Maxx! I didn’t know I could shop online there! After reading your post, I looked at their site and ordered a really cute Etienne Aigner black with leopard print small leather swag cross-body bag. I love carrying smaller bags when I’m shopping or going to an event where I don’t want to carry a large purse. I did get free shipping (they offered a code for orders $89 or more). So, thanks for the tip! I love your fashion over 50 series! So excited to see what you and Mark will be doing with your new home. Continued prayers for your daddy! Glad you took him to the ER and hope you find a great new primary care doctor so you can get him well again!

I am living in England for the next 2 years and happy that they have. TK Maxx not J TJMaxx. I think they are owned by the same compnay. It gives me a nice touch of home when I walk through the store. I have bought several things from them. The only down size is that you go up in sizes to match US sizes. On the plus size, you go down in shoe sizes. I am following your blog and am happy about your move.
