Fashion over 50: Two Tops from Covered Perfectly

I’m back today with another Fashion over 50, although I’ve been traveling and on the go and my fashion has lacked with all the different activities I’ve been doing. While in Texas, there was no fashion sense at all. It was all about cool and comfortable.

I got a few shots while I was in NY recently of a top from Covered Perfectly (affiliate link) and another one that I want to share with you. You know I love their tops and have several of them in my closet. They are truly work horses for me and are great layering pieces.

These are not the most flattering pics, but as you can see, these were on the street in NY. It was a little rainy and windy and not the best weather for street pics, but I do love this Simple Comfort burnout top from Covered Perfectly. The link doesn’t go straight to this top, so look on left side column under Burnout for this particular top!

It’s a mix of gray and black and is a nice comfortable fabric, perfect for layering or wearing alone.  I added a scarf for some color.

While in NY, I attended the Better Homes and Gardens Stylemaker event and I’ll share more about that later, but I wore the outfit I’ve shared with you before, along with those sassy leopard shoes.  I have on the white Simple Comfort top (affiliate link) on with this outfit, but you can barely see it.

Now about those shoes!  I ordered these online from 6PM and love the kitten heel they have.  I was looking for a pair of lower heels and these fit the bill.  I’m still breaking them in, but I think I’ll really enjoy them. I simply can’t do really high heels anymore.

I’m excited they’ve added some new colors to the Simple Comfort top (affiliate link), like this coral color. This is one of my best colors, so it’s going to be nice to have in my closet for layering.

By the way, I had just returned from being out of town and this hair is in between.  I use a round brush sometimes to style it while drying and it’s in between curly and straight which is not my favorite look. It’s called being tired!

My photographer, Mark, snapped some shots for me. I have to find whoever is close by to take these pics and he’s getting used to my camera, so bear with me.  Rhonda usually does it for me.

White jeans by Kut from the Kloth and my white Chuck Shoreline sneakers make a nice casual layered Fall outfit.

I love coral, blue and white together and they are a nice combination.  I hope you enjoyed these pics and take a look at the new color options at Covered Perfectly (affiliate link).  They are comfortable and wonderful pieces to add to your closet!

I love the Simple Comfort mix of gray and black burnout top you’re wearing but I don’t see that color listed at the link you provided.

HI, Betsy, try this link, but for some reason the top won’t open alone. Look in left column under Burnout for this one! Thanks!
