The summer is coming to a close and while I love summer, I’m always glad to see Fall arrive with cooler temps and that first feel of a chill in the air. Fall is at the top of my favorites list for weather and I welcome it with open arms after the heat of summer we experience here in the South. When I’m at the beach, I love hot weather, but out and about doing everyday things, it feels draining and stifling. Plus, I get tired of sweating, don’t you?
I wear my white jeans continually all the way into Fall and it’s fun to mix them up with different tops to get a different outfit. I bought white cords last year and will be wearing those again this year with all sorts of tops and sweaters. I love to mix it all up and white or winter white just seems to work with so many things.
I’ve got another fun summer tunic top to share with you today from Glamour Farms. This top is called Cyndi’s Summer and Sweet Tea coral tunic (affiliate link) and it’s worn as a dress on the Glamour Farms website. Of course, I’m not about to wear it as a dress, but it sure works well as a long top.
Ha, you can see my roommate Rhonda, taking pics in the glass. She helps me out with photos. This top has a pretty lace inset on the top and all down the front. It has 2 small buttons on the back and is fully lined.
Jeans are Kut from the Kloth, which I’ve shared several times before. Still great white skinny jeans!
Kut from the Kloth skinny jeans (affiliate link) – They’re on sale right now!
These long tunics are so comfortable for a day out and you can dress them up or down.
Taking time to smell my gardenias which have bloomed twice this year. The shoes I’ve shared before but they came from TJ Maxx, so I can’t link to them.
Coral and aqua are complementary colors so I added a bit of aqua to this outfit in my jewelry choice and I love the pairing. I got this jewelry at the Atlanta market last year.
White and coral is so fresh for summer and this is one of my best colors.
Mark brought me flowers over the weekend and they matched my top so I had to take a picture with them. He’s so sweet to me!
And here’s one more way I’ve worn the top, with my white leggings from Glamour Farms and those white sandals I’ve shared before. Cute outfit for a day out running errands.
That’s it for today, hope you enjoyed Fashion over 50 today! If you order from Glamour Farms, use code RHODA645, for $10 off any regular priced clothing over $20 (not sale). I have really enjoyed my clothing from them and wear them a lot.
Rhoda, what a darling tunic in one of my favorite colors! Coral and white just say summer! Happy Wednesday, Pam @ Everyday Living
So cute, Rhoda! What did we ever do without skinny jeans and tunics? That combo just looks so pulled together and flattering. 🙂
Love your hair, need to wear it this way more often.
That color is gorgeous on you! Darling tunic and love the lace inset. May I ask you what size you are wearing in the top? I’m thinking of ordering one but not familiar with their sizing. Thanks Rhoda! Love your fashion posts!
Allison, I am wearing a Small. That’s normally what I buy in all their clothing.
Thank you Rhoda!
I love the color and style of that top – so pretty! And I love your hair wavy like that. That’s my ideal style for my naturally curly hair but alas New England humidity says otherwise no matter what I do with it!
I want your hair!!!
Thank you, Lori! I’ve had a love/hate relationship with my hair my entire life. I’m loving the curls more now since I found a great stylist that cuts it so well and I love being able to wear it straight or curly. Good products help too, with taming the frizz. I try different things for that.
Haha….me in white, can’t happen!!! But your outfit looks really nice and you handle the white well. As for summer, I hate to sweat, never did before till I started taking Cymbalta and I can’t handle the heat anymore. Besides, ladies are not suppose to sweat! Thanks for sharing.
Love your new photo of yourself on the blog…….
Cute outfit – It makes running errands much nicer when you feel pulled -together! That’s a really good length for your hair – looks great on you. Also, have so enjoyed your FL. posts. Makes me want to go, since it’s been awhile that i’ve been to P. city. Looks like y’all had a fun time. xo
I could never pull this off – but boy you look like million bucks in that top.
Girl, you have a lot of hair!!! I agree with you about the stylist. My grandson has so many tight curls it’s disgusting to the rest of us. His mom has to take him to a stylist who specializes in curly hair because if it isn’t cut right, you can tell it!! love that coral top BTW
In that 5th pic you look like your Dad. Love that blouse!!!
Thank you, Rose, I do happen to favor my dad more and I have a bit of my mom’s features too. Best of both, I think!
Rhoda, you have such intrinsic style, both in your home and fashion. I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, you were meant to be a model…now, especially for “women of a certain age.” Love your hair when you wear it wavy…so sexy, so playful.
Thank you, Patricia, you are always such an encourager to me. I do like it curly too and tend to wear it like that half the time now.
What kind of bra can you wear with this so it doesn’t show
Hi, I think I wore a regular bra with this one. It’s got a little see through with the lace, but not so bad and a nude bra works fine.
