Fashion over 50: Blue and Green Top

Hey there! Hope you’re having a good week. We are easing into summer around here, the temps are rising and summer is officially here in Georgia.  That means more time spent outdoors while also trying to keep cool.

While I was in New Orleans recently, my sis and I headed to Covington to shop a few of the clothing boutiques over there and I found a few things to bring home and share on Fashion over 50.

I couldn’t resist this pretty top in my fave colors of blue and green, by Yushi, a brand I’m not familiar with.  Here’s a link to the top at a shop in Decatur, GA.  The collar on that one looks a little different than my rounded one.  You can’t see the collar that well, but it has a pretty round collar on it and buttons up the front.

I paired it with my casual white jeans from Target, but any white pants will do.

It’s a colorful look for Summer and these neutral leather wedges I’ve had for a few years are a nice casual look.  I wore this for Mother’s Day.

Love this look with all the colors and just adding some of my turquoise jewelry is all it needed.

I know I’ll have fun with this top for several seasons! It was on sale for around $48.

We took mom out to a local tea room for her 90th birthday, which I’ll share tomorrow, and I wore that black lace top from Banana Republic (affiliate link) again with a pair of graphic print black and white pants from Lisette.  I shared these last year when I worked with them, but they are really comfy stretchy pants, made in Montreal. Here’s a link to these Lisette pants, if you’re interested. They are a bit pricey, but they are really well made and I love the stretch.

I also picked up these block heel sandals on sale in Covington at a shop called Shoeffle.  I like that they are low heeled and I’ll wear these with pants, dresses, and even long shorts.  The gray color will be versatile. I got mine on sale for $30, but found them online if you like them.

As always, thanks for stopping by Fashion over 50!

Here are the same Sarto shoes and a similar pair of tan wedge shoes below (affiliate links):

So pretty. Love the vibrant colours. You could get a lot of wear out of that top.

Hey, Gail, I got a Small which is what I normally wear. It’s not form fitting but I’d say true to size.
