Hey, friends! Thank you all for stopping by the deck reveal and sharing in that excitement. It’s been so nice to sit out there all times of the day. Morning out there is peaceful and shady as is the later afternoon, so it will truly be a haven for us to enjoy this summer.
Today’s Fashion over 50 matches my deck in my fave colors of blues. This top was a thredUP (affiliate link) find and I recognized the brand as Clara SunWoo, since I have another top from them too. They specialize in this stretchy easy to wear fabric and lots of great colors in tunics and cold shoulder pieces. I’ve shared the brand before and you all responded well to it, so here you go again. I was thrilled to find this piece on thredUP at a fraction of the price from other places.
I love the ombre pattern on this tunic and the fabric is so soft and flowy. It dips down lower on either side and the front and back are even, but still a tunic length. I love how forgiving tunics are and they look great with skinny pants.
I’ve had these wedge shoes for a couple of years and they are by Sam Edelman, my favorite brand of shoe since I seem to have many pairs by him in my closet. I can’t link to them anymore since they are older.
We had a date night at Henry’s in downtown Acworth, so I decided to dress up a little bit and wear this new top. We love that place, by the way!
I added a simple tassel necklace with turquoise beads and my simple stacking bead bracelets.
And the thing I like about this cold shoulder top is that I can wear a regular bra with it and not have to wear a strapless one.
Just as a reminder here’s the other Clara SunWoo top I have that I’ve shared before.
Here’s the Clara SunWoo website. I haven’t found this exact top anywhere on line right now. They aren’t really inexpensive, but not too bad either and I think the quality is really nice. Definitely great for travel pieces, this fabric doesn’t wrinkle. This shop, My Fair Lady, has a lot of Clara SunWoo tops as well. I was reading about the mother/daughter duo behind the brand and they have been around for several years designing women’s clothing.
That’s it for today, thanks for stopping by!
By the way, the Scattered Roses top from Soft Surroundings is 1/2 off now, so if you’re interested, this is the time to get it! I’ll link the pants too! (affiliate links below)
This is your color Rhoda!!!! I tried to buy a top with cutout shoulders but you know – it just didn’t look good on my at all. Even my husband gave me his honest opinion and well, back to the store it went. This one looks so comfy – and those colors are my jam! Thanks for sharing, you look beautiful.
Hi Rhoda, Your blog is a bright spot in the day! I enjoy it so much and I think you keep getting prettier & prettier in your Fashion Over 50 posts. I didn’t comment about your deck but I love it and the colors are wonderful. How nice that the sun is going to let you enjoy it at so many times of the day.
Hi, Linda, thank you so much! I appreciate all of you coming by and supporting my blog. We are loving the deck already, this week it’s been very rainy, so things are taking their time in drying out, but I know we’ll be out there again soon.
Rhoda, I love your bright pink top. Those Sam E. sandals are killer, I’m a bit jealous!
Love the turquoise sandals! You’re lucky to have narrow feet!
Thanks, Janet, I loved those shoes when I found them!
Love that pink & the blue tops both! The shoes you have on in pics are awesome too. I have a 5 & 5.5 so shoes that are super cute aren’t in my size ……I order off DSW & other places. You are lucky to have normal sized feet – LOL! Hope you had fun!
Thank you, Bonnie, I was so happy to find that blue one at such a good price! I admit I don’t wear those shoes all that often, but they sure are cute.
