Fashion over 50: Casual Fall

Hey, friends! Hope you’re having a good week so far.  Hump Day Wednesday!  I’ve got a couple of casual outfits to share with you that I wore recently.  Just casual jeans and slip on sneakers and tops with cardigans. This is the time of year that we need jackets or cardigans for layering on the warmth when needed.  We still aren’t cold yet, but I know we’ll get there.

This first outfit is the new jeans I got recently, I’ll share them again below.  They are skinnies and I topped them with a blue and white tunic top from thredUP. Here’s an affiliate link for thredUP, check them out!

I added a coral scarf to this one for some color.

Comfy and casual with my leopard slip on sneakers that I have had for several years. I’ll add links for some similar below.

I love these colors together.

Next is another pair of skinnies from Old Navy and sneakers plus a blue and white striped top from J. Crew that I’ve had for a few years too.

Casual and comfortable again.  I wore this to the Taste of Acworth last week.

This cardigan from thredUP (affiliate link) will be great for so many outfits in a good neutral color.

I think having several cardigans this time of year in different colors is a great way to mix up the wardrobe.

It’s nice to have them to layer in case it’s chilly, then take them off if it gets too warm.

Here are a few shoes that are similar and the same jeans I have on.  Thanks for stopping by this week!

Lovely pictures of you Rhoda! I have to laugh though…your fashion for Fall is far different than for us folks here in the Midwest! I’m already wearing warm socks, thermals and booties everywhere I go! Happy Fall!

Hey, Karen, I know, we are wishing for cooler weather but it is fleeting so far. Just a couple of cool days so far.

You always look so darling – hair and clothes. Thank you for the cute wardrobe ideas for we, over 50ers. 😊 Would LOVE to know where I might be and to purchase a doormat like yours? Thank you!

Hi, Nancy, that doormat is from Frontgate, bought it last year after we moved in. It’s large and you can choose many from there with monograms.

Darling outfits Rhoda, but I have to say that coral color looks amazing on you. And, who does’t love a pop of leopard print?

It’s funny how most of the comments are about the shoes. I like the outfit minus the shoes!

Rhoda, I have read and enjoyed your blog for years. I understand the need for ads but today I was sad when a political ad popped up! Wasn’t sure if you were aware of this. Thank you.

HI, Barbara, thank you for your support. I’m not supposed to have political ads, but will definitely alert my ad company. Sometimes they sneak in and they have to stop them. Thanks for letting me know.

You look adorably casual! We’re finally starting to cool down here in the Ohio River Valley. I hope we all have a glorious fall.
