Welcome to another Fashion over 50! Â Today’s post is very casual and I’m sharing a couple of new things with you. Â I’ll preface this by saying that I haven’t had a lot of furry boots in my closet over the years and never really thought I would need any. I bought these for the Winter cruise that is now postponed until Spring or Summer, so I didn’t have to keep these boots. Â But, because we do get some nasty winter weather here, I wore them out for a cozy feel on a couple of those yucky days we have had and they are so comfy too.
But first, let me show you this cute little princess, Rose, darling grand baby. Â We babysat for her last weekend and she is such a doll. Â Just over a year now, this Christmas will be so fun for her. Â Bare with me as these pics are not the best in low light and dark outside. If you remember, Mark’s daughter, Traci and her family are renting my old house and so I get to visit it occasionally. Â It’s nice to see it filled with a little family. So these pics are all in my old house.
Here’s what I wanted to show you. I did get a new sweater, again from Old Navy that I figured I’d share with you too. It’s a pretty cherry red color, so nice to brighten up these Winter months. I added a pretty scarf I’ve had for a few years to really brighten it up. The sweater is very cozy and soft too and comes in several colors. And it comes in Tall, which I ordered here.
It’s hard to see the boots, but they are from Target and I’ll link them below. They are very similar to Uggs, which I’ve never had a pair of, but I know they are pricey. Â These are really comfy and with cozy socks are great for those dreary days of rain or snow. We have had some cold rainy days lately and I’m sold on these now!
Mark and I went to Scott Antiques over the weekend and I wore these and they were so comfy all day long. Â Some days you just want to be cozy and comfortable and these boots are all that! Fur lined and all! Â They come in a tan shade and black.
The house has all baby gates on the stairs now to keep little Rose safe.
Here are the links below if you’re interested. I love these boots! I can definitely see me wearing them during winter months. The jeans are similar, same brand, Silver.
Thanks for stopping by! Â Merry Christmas to you all!
I love your hair cut. Rose is precious…. what fun for you and Mark. I love your outfit.
I spy two cuties side by side and the third are those boots! … Love furry boots and I think that we will get a lot of use out of them this winter!….Have a Merry Day Rhoda!
Tell me about your sweet love letters jar on the shelf ! You look amazing in this pretty cherry red!
Thank you, Monica, this is my step daughter’s house, so the jar is hers.
Hi Rhoda. Thank you so much for taking time out to post! Especially appreciate the outfits and beauty talk ! Nice to find someone my age that I can get ideas from xoxo
Ok you convinced me Rhoda! I ordered a pair in black – I don’t have the budget for Uggs, but these looks perfect – and they had them in my size (I have big feet so that is a miracle in itself). Cant wait to get them – Merry Christmas to ME!
Hey, Diane, I think you’ll like them! They are very comfy to me.
