We are officially in the lazy days of summer and will be heading to the beach next week. I love wearing shorts and easy T’s this time of year and today I’ve got a few finds from Old Navy and J. Crew Factory to share with you. For our beach trip, I picked up a few things from Old Navy. I wear longer shorts and look for those that are 8″ or 9″ long and these fit the bill, plus they are on major sale now. When we go to the beach, it’s super casual, so I don’t take anything really dressy. Most everything there is very casual which is fine with me. Beach mode means messy hair and easy comfortable clothes. We’re going with Mark’s family and this is the first time this many has been together since 2017 the summer Mark and I got married. Everyone is excited to be going back.
I had some jeans shorts similar to these already but I wanted to size up in these for a roomier fit and these are size 8 from Old Navy. They have some stretch and are plenty big. I usually wear a size 6, but some brands the fit is better in an 8. I bought a couple of T’s too. I was looking for a solid navy and this v-neck works great. I ordered both T’s in medium. Love those longer Old Navy shorts! I picked up 2 pair, already. They also had a lovely black linen dress, I got it for my next cruise.
