Hey, my friends! It’s Easter week and I love this time of year. Easter is such a special time and it’s so nice that Spring is usually in full force during this season. We’ve had weather all over the place this year and who knows what Easter Sunday will bring. I think it might be sunny that day. I’m working with Soft Surroundings today with an outfit that I think you’ll enjoy! I’ve been chatting with them in the last couple of years and they reached out recently and offered a spring outfit, so of course I took them up on that. I like their clothing and even though it’s a bit more pricey than my normal fashion posts, they do have great quality and some unique things that you don’t see everywhere else.
I looked through their online store and found these pieces that I thought be would be a great spring addition. I’ll add the pics and links below.
This floral tunic shirt (affiliate link) has a slit on the side, is longer than normal and has a bit of a fitted feel to it, even though it is roomy.
I love the colors on this shirt, such vibrant spring colors that I thought would be great for Easter. I don’t often get an Easter outfit, but I’m wearing this to church on Easter Sunday.
Aren’t these the prettiest colors? And you know I still have a crush on these Sole Society shoes and they are the perfect pair to wear with this outfit. The white pants (affiliate link) also from Soft Surroundings, are so comfy. I knew that blush color would come in handy. Notice the metal snap detail on the pants. And here’s another thing, girls…the pants are elastic!
I know, right?!
How nice is that? I’m not one to usually shop for elastic waist pants (not yet anyway) but if you’re wearing a tunic anyway or longer tops, why not? They are certainly comfortable. These have a wide elastic waistband and are very roomy and comfy. And the pants legs are straight without being skinny, so I think a lot of shapes can wear these pants. And they come in several different colors. I think other colors would be great for summer too.
I got a Small Tall in the pants.
Here’s a look at the back of the shirt. It has a nice yoke (I think it’s called) that keeps it from being too boxy.
And, if you happened to snag a pair of those coral velvet pants from Loft like I did, this top matches those pants perfectly too. Not sure if they are still available, but link below. I got a size Small in both pants and top.
I decided with my new blush shoes, I needed some jewelry to wear with this tone and found these pieces when I was in Austin. I stayed with my dear friend, Judy, and she took me shopping to downtown Georgetown and I found these in a little shop there on the square. They didn’t come together, I found them at different shops, but I loved adding some blush pink to my wardrobe.
Here are links to these pretty Soft Surroundings pieces (affiliate link) and the shoes:
Which of the websites did you get the tunic? You look beautiful and I loved it.
HI, Susan, it’s linked at the bottom of the post, to Soft Surroundings and I added more links in the post too.
Such a pretty outfit for you, Rhoda. Love the colors and all the details in the pieces.
Love your outfit! I like clothes from Soft Surroundings as well. Quality products for sure. Happy Easter!
Very Pretty!!!
You look so pretty in this outfit, Rhoda! I also love your shoes. The colors just say “Spring!”
I love the stylish white pants and the fact that they have an elastic waistband makes it all the more appealing since I am on the plus side. I am going out to the Soft Surroundings website now. Love the coral pants you featured as well.
I went to college at Southwestern University in Georgetown, so that town has a special place in my heart.
My daughter wears plus size clothing and I have found her a few nice things here. They have a brick store near me and the sales people are super nice and helpful. They have some palm tree slim pants and floral slim pants that I want for me, maybe I will just do that today, get out of the jean rut. You look beautiful in that outfit.
Happy Blessed Easter to us all!
Hi, Nancy, that’s good to hear on the plus sizing. I think they have some very unique things that you don’t see everywhere and it’s tailored for us older gals too, which is a nice plus.
Hi Rhoda, Just wanted to say I have worn Soft Surroundings for years now. Yes, they are a little pricey so I don’t wear everything from there but the quality is outstanding and the fit is true to size. I have never been disappointed with anything I have purchased from them. I love the tunic you’re wearing, just might have to have that one myself! Happy Easter to you and your entire family! Thank you, Judy, I’m glad to hear that. That’s been my experience with their clothes too, very nice quality.
Same here: Soft Surroundings is great — especially sale prices — makes them more accessible!
I first discovered Soft Surroundings furniture which I love. After visiting a brick clothing store,I’m loving their apparel line. You are the picture of spring.
That outfit suits you to a “T” and you look lovely in it. I have several pieces from SS and generally like their clothing. I love the blush color and have gotten 2-3 pieces in that color lately. Wishing you a most blessed Easter!
Soft Surroundings does have some beautiful pieces — they are pricey, but one day I may splurge. Your outfit looks very nice on you.
Perfect attire to welcome spring, Rhoda. Just awesome 🙂
Varsha xx
That outfit is lovely on you! It will be perfec for Easter. I shop in SS occasionally as I do really like their clothing. However I am short at 5’2″ and can’t wear much in the way of tunics…..they just seem to overpower me! I do have their metro leggings which I think are like the white pant that you show. The elastic waist is great under a pullover top and they don’t have a lot of bulk under a top like a pant with a zipper/fly. So that is actually nice when you are layering over the next. I wish were taller so I could wear more of their clothing. The do have a few petite items but not everything is offered in petites.
HI, Debra, these are the Metro leggings and I love all the colors they come in. SS does have some nice things!
What a perfect Easter outfit! It’s especially great with the coral jeans. While I can appreciate how some might wear this as an overblouse/tunic, I think it would also make a cute jacket over a more fitted top, especially for those frigid air-conditioned spaces. : ) You could definitely pull that look off!
Thanks, Teresa, I just love it, so fresh and springy and it does have the feel of a jacket too.
