Fashion over 50: Getting Ready for Fall Fashion

Hey there friends!  Since September is now here, I’m thinking more and more of Fall fashion and getting cozy once again.  It’s still a little bit hard to get there, because it’s still dang hot most days, but the mornings and evenings are starting to cool off more, so I know that Fall is coming!  I love the cozy clothing of Fall and love my booties, sweaters and jeans.

Football weather, getting outside in the crisp cool air, and just this time of year in general is so special and makes me happy every year.  I really do love Fall, it’s my 2nd favorite time of year next to Spring!

I’ve picked up a few things lately in anticipation of Fall, so I’ll share a couple of them with you today.  I found this outfit a couple of weeks ago at a consignment shop in Roswell, Board of Trade, and it’s a really neat shop. They have clothing as well as home decor and furniture.

You all know I’m not particular where I find clothes.  I buy new, I shop Goodwill sometimes, and consignment stores too for good deals on clothing.  It’s fun to find great deals!

The clothing brands were higher end and I quickly looked through a few racks and found these two things that just said Fall to me.  These pants are by Worth, which I don’t think I’ve had anything in this brand before. Looking them up online, they are a higher end clothing line, so I think I got a really good deal on these pants. They were around $25 and I like the dark cream color for Fall.  I will definitely be wearing these with sweaters and booties too.

This top is a Ralph Lauren and it was less than $25, so a really good deal and the colors just said Fall to me. I love the little ruffle around the neck and it will be great with a cardigan over it for cooler weather.

A great outfit for under $50.  I paired it with my leopard kitten heel shoes from Sam Edelman.

And I recently picked up this neutral cardigan from thredUP (affiliate link) recently for a good deal, so topped the outfit with this for cooler weather too. It will be a great layering piece for the cooler weather coming up. I have a few more things to share from thredUP too, that I’ll share later.  I have found some great things on that online consignment shopping site!

Here are a few more things I bought recently and some things worth mentioning for Fall sales!  This is a great time to stock up on a few new things and it’s fun to update the wardrobe a bit this time of year.  I have these 3 on order so will let you know what I think when I get them in, but the prices are really good!  I can’t wait to get those booties, thinking ahead to our NE trip!

And here are a few more things that I saw from Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom that I thought you might enjoy too! Lots of sales going on now. I’ve found some great things at Nordstrom Rack during the last year or so.

Wow, a pair of Worth pants for $25, that was a huge deal. They were probably $200+ new. I’m definitely ready to throw on some booties and wear cardigans.

HI, Lea, I don’t have any Worth clothing, but I looked them up online and yes, I got a deal! So happy about that!
