Fashion over 50: Jeans Styled 3 Ways

It’s so hot around here that it was miserable even putting on these Fallish clothes and taking pics outside! Anyone else ready for Fall weather? We’re getting out some around here, but there’s not much going on so no reason to really get dressed up that much. But I’m sharing a great pair of jeans I got recently, styled 3 ways, so I hope you enjoy these ideas!

I’ve always liked White House Black Market clothing and recently ordered these jeans. They are cropped but you can roll them up or down for length and I got size 6 Long. Some cropped pants are just too short on me so I like to have them a little longer. I really like these and they will be very versatile. They are stretchy and mid-rise and are just a tad big on me in the waist but I can wear a belt if needed. I can see wearing these with wedge shoes, heels or flats.

This pretty black and white camisole top is also from White House Black Market and they were both on sale. I’ll link everything I can at the bottom of the post for your convenience if you want to shop the sales. These shoes I got on sale about a month ago from Ann Taylor. They are cute but higher than I really like. Moto jacket is from Steinmart last year. This would be a fun date night outfit.

I’m wearing some of my Grace & Heart silver jewelry with this outfit and you can click over to my Grace & Heart page if you want to browse the catalog.

My hair was looking pretty bad in these pics. I blame it on the humidity. It’s impossible to keep my hair looking decent with riding bikes, sweating and the humidity. Yuck!

Next is a great look for Fall. This long cardigan sweater is from Target last year. I wish they would bring it back, it’s a good one. Striped blue and white T is from J Crew this year. Caramel mules are last year too.

More Grace & Heart pieces that I love. Here’s a current sale going on til September 6th.

Next is a fun late summer/early Fall outfit that would be perfect for a casual outing. Black T from J Crew and this jacket is an Amazon find from Lee. Leopard belt from Target and the leopard shoes are my fave find this year. I can link most of this. Hat from Chico’s.

This is a fun outfit and just my style.

Jewelry closer up.

And I love this Victoria Emerson bracelet (Tuscan) with this outfit too. This one is sold out at the moment.

Leopard earrings from Just Christi.

I’ll link everything I can on here as well as a few other similar items. The sales this summer have been incredible, I’m sure because people are home and not shopping in stores as much, they are offering even better sales than ever. Affiliate links used below!

Great items and styling Rhoda. But, you know it’s too dang hot here for those jackets – but we’ll get cool eventually. 😉

Love your outfit but here in Florida it’s much to hot to wear a jacket as you mentioned. I recently purchased a light weight pair of capri jeans from Chico’s and love them. The good thing is they aren’t hot like regular jeans, none the less you look great as you always do.

It’s just awful! It’s like summer’s last hurrah trying to burn us all up.

Love the outfits! Thank you! Question – Do you change up your workout at the gym or do you do the same one? How often do you go to the gym? You look great! I have not been going to the gym since Covid started and I can tell!

HI, Pam I do still go to the gym but not quite as much as I used to. I’m averaging once or twice a week now, but we are also riding bikes 10 miles three times a week, so that is taking the place of my gym time. I’m still trying to do my weights at the gym for arm work. I might buy myself some hand weights for home and start trying to do more at home. I don’t change it up but tend to do the same things, since I’m just trying to maintain. Not trying to build a lot of muscle, trying to keep what I have.

    Rhoda,
No worries…you look Hot and I don’t mean just temperature wise! Kidding aside, I do love the leather jacket and top and I am sure it wasn’t easy standing out in the heat with sweaters and jackets on. I find this time of year so difficult when dressing and its certainly a transition month. And sorry I wear my white jeans as long as its hot outside after Labor Day or not!
