Fashion over 50: More Early Spring

Happy spring! It’s really popping in Georgia now and that has me in the mood for spring clothes. I did cave to my own pressure and bought one of the dresses I featured a few weeks ago, so sharing it today.

from Nordstrom Rack/Max Studio (affiliate link). This color is no longer available, but there’s black and mustard. Black would be great too and this will be a fun spring dress to wear out. I love that little detail of the tassel on the neckline. I’m wearing a small.

This pretty red/rusty dress is flouncy (is that a word?) and that is definitely the trend of casual dresses these days. Bonus it has pockets too, love pockets! Here’s a similar more coral dress that’s on sale too.

Daisy says hello!

So I’ve found a few more spring dresses for you. This is wedding season and we have one to go to in May, so I’ll be figuring out what to wear to this semi-formal daytime wedding. Several of these would be ideal for a wedding (affiliate links used), just click through the shopping widget below til you see the one you’re looking for.

I also found a few spring shoes since those are needed this time of year too. Strappy sandals are always a good look with dresses. Here are a couple of eye shadow palettes (both on the same link) from Sephora that are a great buy too! Shopping widget below! Thanks for stopping by today!

Rhoda, you have made some beautiful selections. However, there are those of us that don’t do sleeveless anymore. Of course, you can always wear a jacket or light sweater, but that defeats the purpose of wearing sleeveless. Love your little dog.

Cindy – I feel the same way – I love this idea but may also need to look for a tea length which will be long on me😄 Love that this give us ideas on what to be on the lookout for now

Hi, Cindy, I get it many women don’t like sleeveless anymore. It’s hot in GA so I will always wear sleeveless even when I don’t like my arms anymore. A light jacket is definitely something that works too so keep that in mind. I wear jackets inside AC during summer months a lot.

I found Tenaz tops with mesh sleeves that looked good and worked. Then they went out of business. I wonder if you might something similar.

Such cute dresses. I haven’t been much of a dress wearer, but have been collecting a few dresses over the last couple of months to use this summer. I’m tired of shorts, and casual, breezy dresses make sense when it’s hot. And Rhoda, Miss Daisy is always the perfect fashion accessory! 🙂

Thank you, Jane, she is! I agree summer dresses are cooler too, so I love having them in my closet.

That dress is lovely but I am taken more with that adorable ball of fluff in your arms.

Beautiful dresses. You look great in that color. Could you do a post on short sleeve spring dresses, please? I’m more comfortable wearing sleeves.
